hbateach: He said it gives him a hint that I am still searching because my account is still here...What? You don't trust me, do you?
Well I guess, like me, you have made friends through CS forums. It would be selfish and insecure for someone to pack the online friends in. If that was the state of play when you first start dating then can you imagine after aa while he would probably be asking you not to see your friends in real life. Maybe changing your availability on profile might be a fair request but not to demand you cancel your account.
Ocee35: No, I don't trust you. I barely know you.If you want to be taken seriously, act serious.
This is a dating site, if my presense here
made my S/O even slightly uncomfortable,
I'd drop you lot in half a heartbeat.
I respect your opinion, Sir.
FYI, he is here in my area as well. Yes, you don't know me because it's only now that you've seen me. Me even, I wont trust you because I don't know you, too. But if we start chatting we will get to know each other just like we did. We've seen and known each other for almost a year. I guess there are a hundred reasons why he wanted to cancel my account
I would never tell a woman something like that, it wouldnt even occur to me because, competition is always there, even after marriage the man has to make the wife feel she is respected and prized and that she knows what to do, he is acting like your both in high school, so it is good you got rid of him. JMO.

Depends what you mean by dating. Dating in real or online? If it is just online I would say don't cancel your a/c but maybe as someone else here said change your status if you are serious.
