drew_wea: Another interesting poll hope I don't waste to much of your time. Besides you could be using it to discuss the toilet paper roll controversy.
I sometimes talk to my dog even though she died 2 years ago this month. I just miss her very much!
But she never answers back...
I talk to my old Bog-Monster (boxer dog). I buried his ashes in a very special place by the river, and I go and visit him and have a "chat" with him once or twice a year.

I have had my dog with me 24/7 for over 12 years. We definitely communicate and understand one another. Sometimes without spoken words.
Dogs are more sensitive and intelligent than we give them credit for. I have learned so much about animals thru her devoted companionship, faithfulness and unconditional love!
Besides... The toilet paper roll must always have the paper coming over the top towards the front.
Absolutely! They understand you because of your response when they have been trained. All you have to do to understand them is to respond in kind when they repeat an action they know gets that response. I have fixed a little wire handle on my screen door and both of my dogs enter and exit at will when the door is open. It's really great to see them just reach up with a paw and pull open the screen door. A good dog lives to make you happy with them.
Maybe I am mad but I talk to my little dog all the time and he is my little shadow to , he sits as my feet all the time and just looks up to me as I talk to him , he is the best little mate I have ever had in a dog awww look he is so cute
