It would have been totally understandable to see nerves and lack of confidence, playing against a team with such a reputation, but there was no lack of guts. I was impressed.

The only thing about Lennon is is that he always tries to come on the inside, SWP will take them on down the line.
I agree, 5 minutes is useless, I was thinking around the 70 minute mark, take off Heskey, bring on Crouchie, push Stevie G up front too.

Agreed, they played like a TEAM, first touch was good, passing crisp, and they all knew what they were supposed to be doing and when,,,, if they had a decent striker playing, we would have lost that game ...
But this was to be expected - we see it every year in the FA Cup third round, many of them are playing to get noticed by Premier League managers, its like their cup final, they play out of their skin... we KNOW how teams like this will play against England.
