My mom bought me a pack once when I tried to quit. I didn't think I was that bad.
Funny how much more I seem to smoke sitting here at the computer than anywhere else. The ashtray is forever full. Maybe it's time to try quitting again. I've tried many times in the past, just hasn't stuck yet. Always been cold turkey except once I tried Zyban. Horrible stuff for me. I don't think I slept at all in a week. Right out of it too. I almost stepped off of a ladder 20' up and driving wasn't fun either.
I quit when I was pregnant the first time, but started back after I had my son. Then I didnt quit when I was pregnant the second time, and quit after I had my daughter... I know I know I am crazy and I should have quit again, but oh well, too late now, and my daughter was the same 8 lb 4 oz as my son was, so it didnt stunt her growth at all!! I stayed off them for two years, but then I got stressed last summer and started again... I am now in the process of trying to quit again, but its not an easy task. I have the gum, and an entire huge box of peppermints- they really help me, if I want to smoke I eat one of them, or a half dozen, just depends on how badly I want to smoke!! I dont smoke inside or in my car, never around my kids, my son is allergic- found that out the hard way when he was about 1 and we were in the car... first and last time I smoked around any kids!!
So yes I smoke, not much about 5-10 a day, hopefully less soon, but I too like to smoke, so its really not easy. Thats how I get a break from my kids, step out to smoke.
Smoker here too. I wish it was so easy to quit. I am planning on doing that real soon. I think I will place the call for Chantix, I have heard a lot of good things with it.
Yep, I smoke! I'm not sorry I know its not all PC and crap but its either that or I go postal...so my choice is to put down the AK and light up a cigarette every day....
Can't argue your point at all. I've felt the same way for years. (This winter I've had chest congestion that won't go away, otherwise I wouldn't consider quitting.)
yes. I haven't had a cigar in about two weeks. But I do smoke one when I feel like it. I only smoke a cigar when in public as a form of security as I am uncomfortable around people. I also occasionally smoke a pipe(with tobacco)...sometimes something else
yep, i have mastered the art of speed smoking. Putting all the warm clothes on to go out for a ciggy seems a hassle so i normally brave it in jeans and t shirt.
