It would be better if people did post a pic, but if they're prepared to email one then that's ok. I know there are as many reasons as there are people for not posting a pic - such as being a school teacher - would you want to be seen on a dating site by all those snotty nosed kids in the classroom?dunno

When I first was talking to my now boyfriend, he did not have a picture. Neither of us did. We did not know what each other looked like. Once we build up a rapport, we exchanged email address and photos. The rest is history. heart beating

Absolutely I would, you could tell a lot just by reading someone's profile. Within a couple of e-mails you would be able to tell more and get a good idea of whether or not they not posting a pic because they are hiding something

Perhaps,it would depend on the rapport in the communications between us though. If that was good, I probably would, some don't want their pics on here for a variety of reasons.

I do not mind, when people without picture contact me. In fact, I think it makes it easier to establish communications with that person without being prejudiced about their looks.

I've found several good friends here, who have no picture, and only rarely does it even occur to me that I don't have a clue what they look like. But then again, looks are truly not important to me, I might be an exception in that regard.

Some of the most interesting people I've corresponded with haven't had a picture. When they are comfortable they'll share a picture, and if they don't want to that's ok as well. Eventually if they lived close enough and we'd meet, I'd see them for real anyways.

It is OK, if someone lay, can also post fake photo, from another person or when he or she was younger. Risk with profiles with photos and without one is near same.

Although I wouldn't give someone from here my email address.

I do belong to acouple sites where not every member posts a picture profile picture.It's no biggie.I don't treat them any differently then I do anyone else who does have a picture.
