In my opinion, it's all just a crock of crap that has made it's way through the passage of time. I think of it as one of the modern type cults that actually succeeded in their brainwashing.

They dont even have the original manuscript for script in question, the earliest reference was from Eusebius some 250 years later which was a cross reference using interpolated phrases in the common Biblical manner.....
Even Christian scholars dont use Josephus any more and conveniently, without the originals I guess we will never know except that the practice of interpolation does follow a pattern much used in the times of using one untruth to prove another. In the days before references and plagiarism were recognised, anything went and that is exactly what has been handed down to us to believe as 'inerrent' - it is anything but.........
