I got a new definition of weights after attending the valentine party in Drogheda. These are my observations. Pls don't be offended. Trust me it's true.

Slim & Thin - u might as well go to the graveyard and pickup the bones.

Average - It actually means "Avearge with 2 bellies
hanging out".

Curvy - I like curvy but another mis-interpreted definition
"Curvy with 3 bellies, double chin included".

Very Cuddly & A bit overweight - Actually means they need to go to
"The Biggest Loser".

Very, very big and fat - Sorry i can't give any definition on
this cos what u see is what u get.
If u want to go ahead and commit suicide be my guest.
It does exactly what it says.

Only 3% fitted the right description as on their profiles..

As far as the poll results show, most men fall into these catagories, as far as their likes: slim, average, curvy, & curvy with a few extra pounds. IMO that represents what most women are, so it works out just right!

You know, Ive never known what I weigh? the last time I was on a scale was when I was pregnant with my youngest. I cant even remember anymore, If I even paid attention at the time. Ive never owned a scale, Ive never been on a "diet" in my life. I raised 4 girls and didnt allow that negative body image crapola in my home. Of all the things we are given on earth to learn and explore, "weight" just seems to me to be a bunch of unhealthy self absorbed nonesense! roll eyes

SUNSHINEB0Y: wow!! persecution complex???

The fact is.....he's right....they say they're average, then they waddle in.... usually a good 10 yrs older than the foto u saw on the internet. I had one of them ask me one time "would you have recognised me if I hadn't been standing where we arranged to meet? without thinking I said no, she looked so crestfallen that I had to hastily add, your hair is completely different in the picture

No persecution complex at all.. I have no issue with people having opinions & expressing them.. it is how they choose to express them. Words DO hurt people. I guess it comes down to being mature enough to care how others will be affected by your words.. Even your post.. did you really need to use the word "waddle"... ? How derogatory is that?

Our society has placed so much emphasis on being thin which from a health perspective is great but it has also caused an epedemic of eating disorders as women (& men now on the increase) attempt to fit into the mold that the media has created. There is so much pressure to be thin that people starve themselves or continuously diet which, in a lot of cases & mine included, wind up in a yo yo effect & ultimately end up gaining more weight than they started off with.

Instead of using words to be mean & hurtful, why not think of how your words might affect someone & word it in a nicer way?
There were men that simply posted on here saying "I prefer slim".. Bravo! An opinion without hurtful words included.. plain & simple!

Those that feel they need to critisize anyone else obviously needs to address issues of their own.. & yes, that would include myself since I attacked the first guy & his insensitive response but at least I recognize that.. I'm sure many of you don't.
