john I have hung onto things because they serve me with good memories...I finally threw out my old velour robe...not without a fight!!...I guess the ex had enough of the old raggedy robe that was not too attractive...lol...but ahhh the memories...
lind mistakes are lessons...if you care to recognize this...so i don't try to beat myself up for it but try to learn from it...usually two people are at fault...communication problems as an example...ignoring it usually leads to more mistakes...

soc i do believe ptsd does exist...but certain conditions/criteria have to exist before you can label...that being said...the brutality of war could make anyone depressed, lose sleep and suffer nightmares...my problem is the lack of support of the vietnam vets...why should they suffer unpopularity due to citizens recognizing or questioning their (government's) involvement in the war...

shane yes it is strange that she was found like her mother...that is why they are looking into her death and due to the fact she had injuries as well...but i am sure she had difficulty accepting her mother's untimely death...
gentle What a great story...I sometimes wonder how some cultures don't value animals in the same way we as North Americans do?...truly smart creatures with the capacity to love unconditionally...loyalty is definitely their strong point...cheers!!
post The old world of doing things is making a come back!!...farm to table ideology chefs which means using local ingredients...solar heating and wind energy...bottle returns also coming back in style...organics as well...people are concerned about their carbon footprint and I hope this will continue the momentum!!...as for technology...I love the internet but do dislike our reliance on cell phones as a form of communicating...I hope schools will employ more physical sports regardless of the cost...we are turning the children today into obese and lethargic people that will have a multitude of health problems in their future...city planning is also to blame...most cities you have to drive cars to get to stores...one thing I enjoy about Vancouver...I can walk to the local market and ride my bike due to more bike lanes...the city is evolving to accommodate a greener way of getting around!!
lind Trust takes time but I will indulge in believing people until they show me otherwise...I am generally not suspicious and enjoy people but will not be an open book until I am comfortable...trust your instincts...a good motto to live by...by the way just wanted to share that I am really happy...my wrist cast came off today!!...a great day for me indeed!!
