RE: Where logic?

Hello Um,

In both cases, the depth of the person is being missed. Not good in my book.

point well taken though.

RE: Canadian Humour

Hello L.L.,

Lovely, 22 minutes. :(....be sleeping by then. :)

The Anti-Christ

True L.L. lol....all I have. :)

You never hear nothing about South America causing grief. I wonder if we have been fooled into believing that continent exists. dunno rolling on the floor laughing next blog. lol

The Anti-Christ

Good stuff Molly....I am operating on little sleep from the night before so my energy to tear apart your statement to argue with you is low rolling on the floor laughing tongue

But....good points. thumbs up

I don't like leaving by saying good points to you...I am sure I can dig up a stance. conversing laugh

The Anti-Christ

Usha...

If it is even possible to be more beautiful than you already are, you are more beautiful when you are serious. laugh

Lincoln had some simplistic views on living a peaceful life. thumbs up

The Anti-Christ

Thank you Sea. I heard that once, about the Bible answering any question one can have about life.

The Anti-Christ

Very nice L.L.....South America. I like that. :)

Good info.

The Anti-Christ

Okay Usha, you are really making me work here. laugh

Here is what I have so far...I will continue soon afterwards here.

I agree, God cannot be limited to a book or an institution...and yes these are man made.

Near the end of your statement, you mention God more specifically, as "loving."

My knowledge of religions outside of Christianity is very limited. But on could say the message of the Bible is one of ultimately peace. Perhaps it is a set of guidelines in which people could use to satisfy a "loving" God, in return, allowing a follower of these guidelines a life of the pursuit of peace. When I say peace, I mean a peace from within one's self.

Surely, a loving God would prefer a population of peace minded people. After all, it has been proven and ill-minded person can produce ill behaviors, and vice versa with a peaceful mind.

Okay...let's shift gears a bit here.

I keep on hearing from many here that religion is man made. I agree. The books are man (or woman)...for all we know, written. The choosing of the Prophets being picked by men. Hmmm....as I am writing this, something just struck me...religion is MAN made...probably something a feminist society might not be impressed with...hmmm dunno

laugh Alright, off a tangent there. But anyway, as we know of everything with religion, yes, yes, and yes...man made. Have you ever taken a look at our ancient history? (what we know of it anyway) Is it possible that man and woman...were more in tune with the universe (or nature if you would like), than we are today? The Native Americans claim to have a deep knowledge of the universe. There are structures that have been built with methods we still do not understand today. What about the Mayans with their intricate knowledge of the skies? Is it possible that modern life has been distracted and cannot understand how the teachings of Christ and the Word of God has been translated by human hands into words?

Even aside from all of that....let us not even be concerned about the speculation there...

Would you not agree that the Ten Commandments, if followed as closely as one can, would not lead to a more peacefully internal life....hence, leading to a peacefully external life?

Now...with all that being said. I have a sneaking suspicion that the God the Christian religion follows, may be the God that many other religion follows. When I agreed with you about God not being able to be limited to a book or an institution, I believe God may be an energy...that is in everything.

But....being the Bible is advertised (if this makes you feel better laugh ) as the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Word of God, it just makes sense if one is against it (or anti-Bible), they would be Anti-Christ.
dunno ...just some crude thoughts of mine, awaiting to be chiseled finer. :)

What about that thought of mine??? Man-made religion, in a feminist evolving world???

The Anti-Christ

Hello Viking,

Yes. The Bible has been written by people, and has been interpreted through the years in different language, having some of the original meanings of messages lost. Religion is a faith. Faith is having a belief in something beyond you... If we all lived life selfishly, I wonder what are current society would be. Well, the way things are going today, I think we are starting to find out.

But the point of this blog is about anti-Bible = Anti-Christ. I get what you are saying with people writing the book.

The Anti-Christ

Oh boy L.L....lol. I will check them out shortly. :)

As with your videos too String....

Just doing some juggling right now.

The Anti-Christ

Thank you Non for opening up a new perspective in me..."mass."

It surely is something to consider when being objective.

The Anti-Christ

....correction L.L., I was getting off topic a bit. laugh

The Anti-Christ

One could argue it also allowed good to happen Molly. grin

The Anti-Christ

Hello Non,

That is an interesting point.

However, I do still think religion...overall has served society well. Maybe too well. I don't think a population that is as large as it is today would exist if it were not for religion keeping the majority in line. Now with over population.....hmmm

wave

The Anti-Christ

Hello L.L.,

I do agree, when somebody tries pushing something in my face as well...just don't set well with me too.

...funny about Trump. laugh

But with all fairness, it has been said the same about G.W....being the Anti-Christ. But if the AC was around today, he/she would have many willing followers....I think.

wave

The Anti-Christ

Hello Duro...

I can see and understand where that makes complete sense. We all have our freewill...do we do good, do we do evil...all within our control.

wave

The Anti-Christ

...or at minimum, around during then.

The Anti-Christ

Hello SR,

Please see my response to Calm if it were a single entity.

That is nice to see people able to seek redemption for their sins. Good info SR. Thank you.

wave

The Anti-Christ

Molly...I remember G.W. saying that. doh ......wish there was a emoticon for being a dummy. laugh

The Anti-Christ

Hello Calm,

Thank you too for supporting words.

With what you say about it being a single being, that could actually be. dunno Let's say that is the case, it would be much easier for him or her to fulfill their agenda with a larger non-religious society. I would think anyway.

wave

The Anti-Christ

Hello GJ,

Thank you for posting some supporting documentation.

wave

The Anti-Christ

Hello JJ,

You should probably keep that a secret. laugh

wave

The Anti-Christ

Hello String,

Thank you for the video. I will try and check it out shortly. It seems like it would be very interesting to watch.

wave

The Anti-Christ

Perhaps and hello Capri...

But what I think when I hear the end of the world, is it is inevitable. We all die...thus, we all have our worlds end.

wave

The Anti-Christ

Hello Molly,

I cannot argue with your point, there is much validity to it.

However, some of the examples you have provided have to do with the people who claim to represent that religion...and not the actual religion itself.

wave

The Anti-Christ

Hello Itch,

Thank you for your input...much appreciated.
