Why do you say you do not have much time left, are you terminally ill? Many people do feel as you do. Breaks my heart when I see someone who is in pain. Do you have family near you?

Not everyone is here out of lonliness. I'm not at all lonely. The blogs are entertainment and its a social network.

I've got a very wonderful and loving son so I'm never alone.

Would be nice to meet a good man to spend the rest of my life with but if it doesn't happen I'm okay with that too.

No one should change anyone. Attraction should be based on who that person is already.

Trying to change someone whether a man or women will bring only unhappiness.

A person can choose to make changes within themselves of their own free will. Deal with anger issue by seeking counseling or improve their appearance with new clothes and updated hairstyle.

If you ask someone to be a different person than the one they have been their entire life to become the person you really want and never found you are asking for heartache.

I feel very blessed to have an amazing 21 year old son who loves me in spite of all my short comings. He's in college, has a wonderful set of friends to enjoy life with and I'm very proud of the man he has become.


A man I met let an unpaid cell phone come between him and his 23 year old son. I told him he should allow a phone bill to destroy their relationship. His son should be more important. He had cancelled the phone. The young man had gotten his own plan. Problem solved time to move forward. Just pay the bill.

I'm finding one quality I'm seeking in a man is a strong connection to his children. He will understand mine. If things were to work out between us then both our families would grow. Would not want to be with any man who would think my son visiting was a bother. As I would not think his children or grandchildren were any trouble.

Every situation is different and as you were told in another post the landlord laws vary not just by country but by State/Territory, etc...

Dating is hard either way I totally agree. The plus to online dating is creating a profile and being able to basically sell yourself. Summarize who you are and who you are looking for hoping to find some prospects.

My biggest complaint is that the behaviour people have online. Is it a reflection of the type of person they are in real life? When you spend time getting to know someone and saying what seems to be all the right things then why should it be so hard to then also say "something is missing or I met someone more compatible" or just anything verses vanishing which I find very juvenile.

Is this the level of respect they would treat a person they would be in a relationship with?

mossie I'm going to be very honest with you. Far too often I see in these blogs that people do the hand holding and coddling rather than being truthful.

I'm not too much older than you so I would be a far judge of 46 year old man's profile.

First, women are very visual and you have no picture. Physical attraction is a fact. If I can't see you then I assume you don't feel you are attractive. We all have different tastes and not all are looking for George Clooney's twin brother.

Second, most people are non smokers and those of us who are choose not to date smokers because of the odor and the health issues associated with second hand smoke.

Next, I find it off-putting when a man of your age puts the age range he seeks at 18. That is still a child. You have nothing in common with anyone in their twenties.

Rethink how you can change the way you are doing things. I agree also that a pub is the wrong place to try to meet a woman. A singles group at a church if you attend is a good start.

Forgive me if I seem to be harsh but I'd rather be honest than to just keep patting you on the back saying its going to be okay. Learn to be happy with your own company because you can't make anyone else happy if you don't like being with yourself.
Its okay to be alone which is very different than being lonley.

I would rather be alone than be with the wrong person.

Where I live we have many large "asian/indian" markets that carry all the items needed in traditional recipes. We have international and Mexican markets too.

This recipe is online is easier to understand versions as well.

I don't think its really all that uncommon. I never connect with anyone who lives near me. My thing is that we have no way to know where God has placed our soulmate in this world. Takes and open mind and heart to recognize them.

I've recently met mine, at least I'm feeling it and so is he but the true test has yet to come. Why? We live a couple hours apart. I don't have a car. He works nights and has 3 school age kids he picks up after school. Gets along with his ex. Even showed her my picture. I'm thinking it will be Valentines Day that we get together the first time. Its his day off. So is my birthday.

Before him I was taking a train 2 hours to date someone. Others have been out of state and out of country. Meeting in person is the only way to figure out if they are they one. Then you go about figure out the rest.

You friend did a bad thing by telling his friend the wrong word. He could have gotten him killed. He needs to take responsibility for his actions and be very apologetic but not expect this person to receive him into his home. Tell him to write him a heart felt letter if he won't talk on the phone. It will be a start.

Be a good dad if you want whats best for your boys. Get full and soul custody of them. Later on if their mother comes to her senses you can work out visitations with her. Right now you don't know what danger your sons are in physically and emotionally. In reality you don't have a step daughter since you weren't married to this woman. Its her daughter. Leave her your contact information if she's old enough to understand the situation. Not trying to be harsh about the girl but the boys are your responsibility not her.

She's German, you ever known a German woman? THEY WEAR THE PANTS in family. Heidi and Seal got along just fine to pop out 3 kids in less than 7 years. I am guessing if he was angered it was due to her being busy non stop and having no time for their marriage. It takes 2 people. Those dumb annual renewing of vows were just for the media. "Look at Us, take pictures of Us, pay Us money for pictures!" Again, I know GERMAN women, as in personally in real life and they are blonde too and their husbands ask how high to jump.
