Serenity! thanks for adding. I really like flowers. I especially like roses. I have a few of those growing in my garden! The neighborhood, I live in a trailer park, has tons of flowers so out little humming birds have plenty to eat!

Claudine! Yes, I do the starter thing first to keep them from getting eaten by insects. I use a mix of light detergent and MOSTLY water to keep the bugs away. Yes, and I also noticed Life grows beets too. I have never thought of that!
WAF!!! Thanks for jumping in. Yeah, gardens aren't for everyone. I started because I was out in the yard pulling weeds one day and I said if I'm gonna pull weeds I might as well grow some goodies. I'll bet your friend came back with a gardeners vengeance and smacked those weeds around!
George!! You hit the nail on the head. There is nothing like a fresh vegetable. When you buy from the store you buy a bunch and they wilt fast. In your garden you pick one and the rest are guaranteed FRESH!!!! Thanks for jumping in!

La India! You better jump into my blog! It's so funny about the Aloe Vera. It made me sick to do this, but I had to thin them out because they were getting out of hand. I know what you mean about space. I grow alot of things in pots like Collard & Mustard greens. After you pick the leaves off the plant replenishes itself! You can eat from it for a couple of years or more.

I'm a single irresponsible man that has a "old geezer" phone with large numbers and no camera and 2 game apps which i have never looked at and I do not use texting. The phone cost me $25 to purchase and $35 to activate.
