People will be a mystery and it's advisable not to try and figure them out or to even ask "Why". The best thing to do is continue to be a nice guy like you are and just keep looking. One day she will be right there before your eyes.

Wow! This blog took off. No, it's not really an old age problem. I have always forgotten even as a kid. And, of course , it would come with a GOLD AARP card! hee hee
They actually do mail you a pre-approved card so you can join.
Years ago I used to work for the Los Angeles Dodgers. I got a call that there was this unruly guy in First Aid for a long forgotten problem and he was cussing away and not acting too good and he was real drunk!
My misfit toy will be a doll that always forgets things. His keys, his cell phone, where he put his social security card, where he left his hearing aids, WHERE HE LEFT HIS KEYS AND WALLET! I have always forgotten where I put things. And it's not a recent old age thing. I always have forgotten.
Then he goes up and down the stairs looking in areas he knows he hasn't put the lost item and suddenly it appears when you pick up a newspaper or a magazine!
My dreams have just about reached fruition. I wish the same for you!

I was thinking about my Dad last night before I fell asleep. He was from a different culture and era so none of these songs would have made sense to him. I loved my Dad alot too!
