This is really cute and funny. You call your sweetheart "chatty" and I call my sweet daughter "Chatty".
Let me explain why. In Mexican Spanish (in the American Barrio ) the locals call a short dark complected person "Chato for males" or Chata for females". But it also means other stuff in real Spanish which are not so nice. Grandma named my daughter "Chata" and I changed it to "Chatty".
Have you ever thought of asking the jealous suitor and if he replies in the affirmative explain to him what you just told us, i.e., "you are still in the getting know phase" and you are right!

I live in Southern California and the mountains right above my town are small. The further you go back they range size increases. Nonetheless, these mountains have spectacular waterfalls and they are just a small hike away.

Men handle things in their lives way different then women. And though it's not always like I am going say I think it's pretty much that way most of the time.
Men will "love" women sooner than the other way around. It appears to me that women are more careful about these things than men. That's just the way it is. And I don't think this phenomena will ever change.
Does it make sense? Not to a woman but to a man it does. Don't try and figure it out because you never will. Just like we will never figure women out.
I like mine black and just regular java for me. I don't patronize the fancy wancy places with their frap this and frap that with shots and whipped cream junk all over it.
