I lived in Northern California along the coast for awhile and the Redwoods had plenty of moisture and pine needles on the forest floor making great growing conditions for mushrooms. I only went with people that knew which ones were good because there were alot of poisonous ones too!

I am hard of hearing and my hearing aids do not "aid" me when I am on the phone. They really hinder the voice. SOOO! I take them off when I talk on the phone. Yes, any language is hard to understand when your not used to accents!

This artist and his panel, "Bizarro", have got to be one of the funniest cartoons around. I also find his signature Props" like the eyeball, the slab of cherry pie and other things he slips in equally funny!
You just about repeated my prayers word for word to the Almighty! I thank Him every day for letting us use this plot of land we call the USA. I acknowledge to Him that I know it's His and He has lent it to us. I thank HIm for the protection from any invasion against us!

You are young! But your very mature and it appears you have always been that way. Some people just are and your like that. There's nothing wrong in waiting for what you want. My son got married at age 34. He waited and he found the woman he wanted. She's so good that my cynical sisters even said, "She's a keeper". To hear them say that was really funny yet good!

One last comment and I make reference to your answer to LB. Some women don't like that and that's ok too. It seems you want a more mature acting guy so just humor them and say your not interested and wait for the guy you like.
OK, let me explain to you from an American point of view. I looked at your profile and it shows you are 32. That's pretty young if a man 40 or over wants to be with you. SO! If he feels a "little too old" for you he will say he's a "kid at heart" because he wants you to know he still feels young, for example, 35.
When a man says lets do something stupid together, again, it's an American thing and he's telling you he wants to take you out, for example, bungee jumping or something "wild". It could also mean something as innocuous as his way of tell ing you he wants to take you out! OR (are you ready for this?), he wants to "fall in love with you".
Us guys do this when we get real interested in a lady. It doesn't necessarily mean he's really a kid or a weirdo. He likes you is what he's saying!
It all depends on whom you are addressing! Some people care and some people don't. Those that care will treasure the words. Those that don't care will "grunt" and walk on!

Although I do not want to be a kid again I certainly appreciate your reminiscing and thoughts. I like my age because if I were a kid this day and age it would be real hard to cope. In my day, things were simple and wholesome. Now they aren't. But I do have fun remembering the "good ol' days"!!! hee hee I never thought I would say that!
I looked at your profile and you are the youngest looking 40 year old woman I have ever seen! God has been good to you and it looks that way in the way you write. I am a Christian and certain gospel songs stick in my head. When you have joy in the Lord you have eternal joy because even HE has said things will not always be good.
