A woman, and vice versa, needs her man to be quiet and reserved at the right time and funny and outgoing at the right time.

Sounds to me like you have every thing under your control and that's good because they appear to be sound decisions!
I have never been able to figure out people like this that think they own the world because they're educated or they simply think they're brilliant people and everyone else is stupid!
But, as I do with problems like this, I don't need them because they're not mine and I move on!
