I had lunch with my daughter Carly on Saturday. Carly has her Dad's "run around" genes. I used to always be on the "go" when I was younger. Carly jams all over the place. She calls me once in awhile and we laugh about it. She says, "Dad, I', sorry I haven't called you"! I just laugh and tell her, "Like father, like daughter"! We bust up.
OH YEAH, Sunday we had a Gospel jam. I know you would have liked it. We played alot of good jams like this one.
This is one of our regular jams during the praise time!
If you like wine you will love their Cabernet Sauvignon. Along the same River Road I mentioned there's a huge vineyard and they do tours. Well, there used to be but I'm fairly certain it's still there. It has a beautiful stoner entry and a large wrought iron entry gate!
Do you ever get to the Russian River jazz fest? I think it's called "Jazz & Blues by the River! I may make it this year. I always liked the little towns along River Road.
Guerneville, Jenner (especially to see the Salmon run) and all the little places. I forgot the names of the others but you know what I mean!
So true. I used to live in that little city. It was neat and I may move back. It's only 5 miles away from La Verne. But then I may not. Who knows when your single and irresponsible?
Ontario, CA is a mixture of old California and new California. California used to have a BIG wine industry in that area years ago. There are still a few vineyards around but not like it used to be. The weather is also mild and warm in the winter and hot in the summer!
I am thoroughly surprised that this young man could not find a babe in this town!!
We laugh about things that could not possibly happen to us. But then the things happen and we say, "What the hey!"
The solution to no writing? Chip implants and voice activated computers that will accept your "Yes" as a binding agreement. Speaking to a computer that will "type" the e-mail for you. And on and on.
It's coming and as our brains shrivel because of no activity then we morph into weird beings!
We laugh at things that could not possibly happen! But they're coming!
Jesus Christ never said we were door mats. HE just said to love our neighbors as ourselves!!
I know I am saying too much to you and it is against my better judgement to get involved. But you are a Christian sister and we must help each other out. Thanks for being so gracious about what I am telling you!
I don't know if I'm concerned with the well being of the community. I never thought of it in that perspective.
But by minding one's own business are you not in fact enhancing humanity. I know my neighbors appreciate me for being polite to them instead of starting feuds with them. Just think. If it caught on world wide wouldn't this be a better earth to live in?
It's just another day manufactured for commercial purposes as I see it.
I would rather make it Valentine's Day every day for my love. Comfort her. Make a meal for her for no reason anytime. Bring her some flowers just because. Let her have a spa day any day of the year and more than once.
A Christian buddy of mine bristles when he hears "holymoly". He says, "I never seen any moly so how can it be holy"?
I'm a Christian also but things like this are just so harmless so I answered him. "Yes, moly exists! It's a chocolate and red chili dish with chicken in it."
I won't tell him it's really "mole" but it's pronounced the same way. hee hee
Now, back to the subject. Yeah, she probably did but it's ok. We're a mellow group and we don't worry about typo's. You can bet your last dollar there's one in every blog or comment!
Look at Delatude's blog and just understand that there are those people with a big mouth and a small mind. They worry way too much about the blogs and the contents!
Other people's quotes and sayings are used everyday by you, me and others. Your a Christian so look at it this way. You quote scripture. Does Jesus send you e-mails about any wrongdoing? Absolutely not. The person with the comment IS NOT Jesus. So just ignore them.
Some people live in a state of "policing" everyone. They fully think it's their job when in reality the only "policing" job should be to police thine own self!
Stay and ignore the commenter, or should I say, complainer!
I do not buy a "branded name" article of anything. I refuse to advertise an expensive piece anything for nothing.
That said, this is what I do! I make sure that I keep my clothing and shoes clean and in their right place. Works wonders and i have clothing that I have had for 15 years in some cases. And I buy this stuff at bargain prices.
Shoes wear out quickly because I have one pair of tennis shoes (no logos) that I use for everything so they will wear out in about a year!
AHHH, the wonderful life of a bachelor! I love it!!
