And do all kinds of crazy French stuff! Like watch the movie "La Cage Aux Folles" over and over again! ha ha We will have a good time being silly and crazy! And while we are watching the movie we will eat plates and plates of escargot and truffles!
Yeppers! Do what you gotta do. My son and my daughter didn't get married until they got into their 30's. Lucky for me I got married young so I am enjoying my Grandkids fairly young!
I truly respect and admire mothers who stand by their family no matter what! How they turn out is not a reflection on a mother if the child takes a bad path. But truly if the child takes a good clean walk. You are one of those mothers so stay walking with your head high because we are your friends here on CS and you will always get encouragement from me!
I had a family of siblings like that! My parents were beautiful and sweet. My brothers and sisters could be terrors!
I grew into my teen years and left home. I was criticized by these brothers and sisters and still bossed around. I ignored them because I had my own place!
They got irritated because I ignored them. They could not figure out why I ignored them. They were too busy thinking it was me all the time! hee hee
They called me to do things for them and I did it even though I kept my distance. I called them for things and they threw it in my face that if I were more careful these things wouldn't happen. hee hee Talk about hypocrisy!
I had kids of my own and we love each other dearly. They are well educated but I am sorry to say that my nephews and niece have had their share of problems with their parents ( my siblings).
Then a funny thing happened. Old age crept in and now they are always happy to see me and anxious for my visits. I sit and think about the many years of sibling poison making us waste good times together!
This lady you speak of will one day be loved and coddled by her kids! Things work out!!!
When the man treats you like you deserve to be treated and he isn't in a rush to get you in bed. He will be kind, warm and listens to you. But that's only a few things! There's a whole lot more!
Why worry about "some guy"? Just stay on the blogs with us and he'll find you! We have lots of fun gabbing and some even like to squabble! Can you imagine that???
You are absolutely correct. It will come back to you. I once used to know this beautiful young lady and she was so sweet and nice. And I complimented her for it.
Her reply: "One day I will be old and not so pretty so I am being nice to people because things will change". How's that for wisdom?
I just ignore blogs that get into big fights and name calling. My feelings are that if you ignore them they will eventually go away! Sometimes it takes awhile but it does work.
It's a positive step to be on your own and stay away from ex's. Your laughing is a good sign that you know it's over with and your ready to set foot in new territory!
