RE: For the Birds

I really like watching/feeding birds.

I used to have a bird feeder but since I live in a trailer park the neighbors complained about the flocks of birds it was attracting. The birds would congregate on the neighbors trailers and they would do their business all over them.

When I go fishing I not only feed the fish (hee hee) I also feed the birds. It's really beautiful to watch the different species of birds as they feed around a lake.

And last but not least. I lived in a small town in Colorado that has a muddy lake that attracts Bald Eagles. That is really a sight to see.

RE: Don't be afraid

I wish I would have had that courage a few years back in the same situation. I loved my job but I hated my boss.

Good for you and wishing you blessings in your new work environment!

RE: Odd dream this morning - food for thought

I always have weird dreams! They're alot of fun. And I used to have this recurring dream.

When I was a kid I moved away to a different city. In our hometown we had a baker that made the best turnovers. They were full of fruit, real tasty and flaky and the frosting he swiped on the edge was just too good. In my dream I would chomp on these as if I were really eating one. I would wake up and smile remembering those turnovers.

RE: wierd day

This man I knew used to do that. He would park in the middle of the intersection and just sit there. The opposing driver would approach and stop. Then when the guy I knew wouldn't go the opposing driver thinks he's not going so he would continue. The guy just sitting there would suddenly accelerate and voila! He would win his claim in court because the opposing driver didn't yield.

Sounds like that lady was doing that to you!

RE: wait4me driver

The picture is great and the feeling of warmth from hearing God praised and given credit is even better!

RE: Shhh......

You are a beautiful young lady and would be a marvelous match for someone else. Someone who would care about your feelings.

RE: For us women

Sounds like you knew my Mom. This describes her perfectly. She was always quiet and over the years I think alot about her and her quiet ways as she took care of all of us in the same manner.

Whenever she would listen to Guy Lombardo she would start crying, or any of her "oldies", and I would chuckle at her and ask her why she was crying she would reply, "Because I'm happy".

I'd come back and say, "Then your supposed to laugh".

"One day you'll see what I mean", was always her reply.

Well, as usual, Mom was right and I, too, cry whenever my heart melts thinking of her or my kids and G-kids. God was there to provide an answer for me as well.

Amen!

RE: Amen

Correction of typo"

"all if Him" should be "all OF Him"! Amen

RE: Amen

Amen! We all deserve a huge serving of Jesus Christ. As a matter of fact...all if Him!

Praise the Lord for choosing your friend and you for your witnessing. I pray the best for both of you!

RE: Meeting different people..But DOES IT WORK?

I have not met anyone on CS that wants to get together but that's not important. I like gabbing on the blogs and reading other peoples stuff. I have gotten on another site and there is a group of us on that site that has gotten together and we do plan get togethers which are fun. But here? It's the blogs!

RE: Religion or no religion

No one should have a religion. People must have a relationship with God or a god.

Since I am a Christian I know for a fact that Jesus Christ says not to judge anyone because HE will judge you. My God has given people free will. They can believe or not believe. If one believes there are not two ways in your belief and actions. If you don't believe then that's your business and a real Christian cannot force Jesus Christ on anyone! We must love everyone and we cannot condemn because it is not our jobs! And Jesus says that!

RE: GOD renewing

AMEN! I like seeing posts that proclaim the goodness of our Savior! Only HE can save us!!

RE: You can't live for the future...

I'll offer a toast to that! Excuse me while I get my mug of beer..................ok, here's to today!!!!!

beer

RE: have you got procrastination?

Procrastination is my first name. I am so guilty of putting things off then suddenly I do them all in an hour or two. Since I've been that way all my life I don't worry about it like I used to!

Now, getting back to your question, "How can I do". Do you want to be more specific? It sounds pretty difficult and I will understand if you don't want to say what it is your putting off. In that case I will pray for you!

RE: weekends almost over

I had a great one day weekend! I work quite a bit, it's part of the job, and sometimes we work the whole week. HOWEVER, when I am off as I was this Saturday I go dancing. I like 3 different clubs around my area but choose the closest one when I'm going to need to go to bed early for the next day at work. These club have local bands and the music is typically the same. Stuff like R&B, Classic Rock, Soul and the beers are cheap. A night like that costs me about $15. I'm on my way to bed because I gotta work tonite! Y'all have a good Monday!

RE: Does age matter when its comes to performing live

I think that if people want to pay all that money to relive their youth then they should do that. And if the musicians want to perform and relive their youth then that's ok too! Me personally? I wouldn't pay the high prices when they were young so I won't do it now.

i hope they all have fun!!

RE: It hurts

Don't get yourself down. You are doing just fine. You have a sense of humor, you have worked hard to buy yourself a home and it appears that you are a very kind person. Your friends and co-workwers are fortunate to have someone like you around them because I'm sure they must have hurting problems too but you know that joy is the cure for this hurt.

The main thing is you are striving for happiness and there are many that aren't! Again, just keep doing what your doing and have fun!
