I am truly blessed!

@ montecito: Thank you for your kinds words. AHHHH yes, children and grandchildren; so wonderful and Gods gifts to us. Amen!

I am truly blessed!

Jana, I think so highly of you that I was hoping you would comment. Thank you my dear sweet friend.

I am truly blessed!

And thanks to the rest of you commenting. Actually, we pretty much do spend alot of time together now that they are adults. It's that the fishing trip was really special to me.

And, yes, God is good, Amen!

I am truly blessed!

NO, thanks to all of you!!!

RE: Lonely once again

I just read your profile and you do need to re-do it. Talk about the things you like to do and the things you expect in a relationship. Talk about the kind of woman you are looking for. Don't ask women to come to you first. It's probably not going to happen.

You MUST take the first step. Your shy so seek that shy one yourself. Do not be afraid to hear her say, "I am not interested".

Then! When you meet someone that cares for you and WHEN she asks you about all the personal stuff you got into in your profile tell her all about it. She will cuddle you with true love.

RE: Faith

Amen! You may want to check out Hebrews 11:1 in the New testament if you never have.

RE: What put you off in a relationship,

This is what puts me off in a relationship. I am a hard worker and the reason is our family grew up struggling for everything. My ex-wife and a few ex-girlfriends always complained that I was always working. I don't know why they complained because I provided nice homes for them, cars, more than simple amenities and I did it gladly without any paybacks for the things I did for them. It was a lose-lose situation.

I'm an old guy and I have no relationship now. It's just as well because I am contented.

RE: Seek communication with CS lady fans of Alex Jones

I'm not a lady and I don't know Alex Jones, but I do want to comment on the city you live in. I did a double take because the town I used to live in was small. A few towns over was this even smaller town that wasn't close to anything. It was really isolated. The towns name is also Cheraw!

RE: hobby

I play in the praise band at church so I would have to say playing my congas for Jesus! HE calls me Papo Conga hee hee

I also like to dance and fish and that's interchangeable, too

RE: Physiological find a word.

bad, pretty, tax

I hope not during tax time unless it's the lottery win!!!!!

RE: Is this real????

Yes there is and it is advertising as a budget hotel (my kind of place) in the "Heart of London"!!

A job offer maybe? Or have you found a job yet?

RE: The Game

Ahhhh! Football, such a great spectator, and participant too, sport! Have fun because I know I will. Be sure to eat a hot dog, drink a beer, pop some corn and cheer your guts out1

YEAAAAAA team!

RE: All work, and no play ?

I work with an employment firm that states in their Terms of Agreement that we are not to bring work home. Or like you, LIVEINHOPE, I probably would.

On the other hand (BTW your taste in music is excellent...STING!!!) you are home in relaxing attire, some snacks and drinks of your choice wine or beer, you can get up and dance (I love to dance) and so on. Could you do that at the office? Have fun and forget the hassle of things.

RE: Divorce rate

I just googled divorce rate statistics by Nationmaster.com and they state that this is the divorce rate for every 1000 marriages by country:

1. United States 4.95
2. Puerto Rico 4.47
3. Russia 3.36
4. UK 3.08
5. Denmark 2.81
6. New Zealand 2.63
7. Australia 2.52
8. Canada 2.46

The lowest divorce rate goes to Sri Lanka @ 0.15 marriages per 1000!

I have no opinion since I am not qualified as a twice divorced person and now single for 35 years, but I thought it would be interesting to see these stats.

RE: Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!

Same to you!

RE: :-)

!!!Igualmente, Chica!!!!

Goze tu dia.

RE: HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I would find no one else better than you to say this to because I know you will understand: I do not celebrate holidays for this reason (And no, I am not a JW): Holidays always seem to take away from the praise for our Lord Jesus Christ. And if there is praise for Him it is that one day only. I prefer to thank only HIM each and everyday.

So thank you Jesus for all you do for us, Amen

RE: Remember

I really like stuff like this. It really touch's my heart to see love happen whether it is between children, parents & grandparents and children, between young spouses, and last but not least, old spouses like those in your picture.

Great blog and picture!

RE: How should I tell her ?

I agree with the other 2 blogs. You must tell her that she is wrong because if you don't you may lose friends in the process because of her. And you may not want that to happen. Her rude attitude will make others also judge you wrongly as well even if you remain kind and courteous. Weigh the factors and see if this person is really a friend!

RE: its been a while

This is my belief for Thanksgiving Day as well as for Easter and Christmas. I don't celebrate any of them and it's nothing religious but my choice.

I celebrate His giving, resurrection and birth everyday and not just one "special" day. The Almighty is a good and deserving of all praise God! Amen!

But for those that do! Happy Thanksgiving Day!!

RE: A flower for the ladies

Great shot! I used to live by this lake in Los Angeles called Echo Park Lake and it had the most exquisite water lilies. Huge ones that bloomed every year. They were a Japanese species but I just liked to look at them and so I never knew that much more about them.

And now, the dozen roses story: I have received a "bouquet" of balloons from a lady I was once dating. I don't think I would really mind getting a dozen roses anytime. So far nothing has arrived.

RE: A wise Saying

That is the real truth. One sided love is never the way to go. If I'm interested in a woman I will open up with a conversation and go from there. Who knows, if she doesn't show any interest you may gain a lifelong friend instead of a love affair!

RE: 2012 -The Truth

Thank you, Rowdy! Amen!!

RE: receive 197 email

I wish you all good things in this relationship.

RE: An Angle

It's pretty tough losing someone you love. But things always work out in the end.

And just keep practicing your English and you will master it and perhaps love as well in time!

RE: ?

They are there and they will try to railroad you. But if you do things well in the workplace then there should be no problem. And if there are problems just move on because that place was not for you!

RE: Drivers

@ becky96: Oildale, huh! I used to go hunting for fossilized sharkteeth in Oildale. It was alot of fun. Too bad that quarry isn't open anymore I would still be going up there.

And regarding those that complain about bad drivers. I am happy to say I drive excellent. I am 70 years old, I have never had an accident, I have gotten 3 tickets in my entire life of which one was "speeding" in a 25 mph zone and I was doing 31 mph. I guess you would have to understand Pasadena, CA for that one. And I pay $330 a year for insurance. So I do practice what I preach!

RE: Respect

@ rowdyrufus: I couldn't have said it better! Thanks!

RE: Drivers

In America, some people that drive pickups and SUV's speed around or slice in and out of traffic as if they're is somehow some law that allows them to do that.

Or anyone who doesn't come to a complete stop or doesn't even slow down when making a turn on a red light!

And last but not least. The cell phone users while driving!

And, of course, there's never a cop around when that happens.

RE: Living In Tampa

Then shop it around with some Salsa bands in Miami. Check it out on Calle Ocho which is the home of Salsa.
