Excellent blog and Jesus is holding you tightly in His arms for your praise! It is exciting when you have a personal relationship with the Lord so I know exactly what you mean.
My sister, I have a pastor that says: We are all imperfect and learning Jesus Christ and what He expects of us is a lifetime process and HE knows that! I am so happy we are still learning! Glory to God! All praise and credit goes to Him.
I love the Blues. Our church praises the Lord with Gospel Blues and our pastor is the lead singer. I play the congas, drums when the regular drummer is out and all the percussion goodies.
Later on this month we will have a Blues Jam. Our band will open up with prayer and praise songs then there will be other bands playing secular jams!

I have forgotten "stuff" all my life! Mostly because I'm irresponsible. I moved out of 2 bedroom apartment into a small 26' trailer and I thought that for sure I would remember "stuff". I now can find it sooner but I still forget where I put it.
We are far from perfect but we still have "pretty" much equal treatment for all. Sometimes our laws fail but they can be rectified albeit years later but they still work. I, too, am against the death penalty because our system can let the inmate waste time and money through our appeal system.
I read so many horror stories in the newspaper everyday that I know I would not go to another country in this day and age. I am of Mexican descent and San Diego is as close as I will get to Mexico especially now that the drug cartels rule in Mexico!
I give this couple credit for their reaction in accepting what they cannot reverse. They are truly a forgiving couple.
Those songs were not familiar to me but I am glad they make you feel good and happy remembering the "old times"!
My oldies are American songs sung by artists like Little Anthony and the Imperials, Richie Valens, Thee Midniters to just name a few. There are way too many to post but you get the idea. Try and youtube them. I think you will like them too!,
Not too many people commented but I suspect that it's because no one has the answer for those that do abandon animals. We all know it's wrong and we all know the reasons but we just don't know what to do about these people that mistreat animals.
In America it is a very serious crime to treat animals bad. But some people still do although they know if they get reported they face jail time and serious fines. And they do it for various reasons ranging from the fact that they don't care and the other end they don't want to abandon their animals even though they are too poor to feed them so they hold on to them.
I am familiar with Pugs and although they are very sweet and beautiful animals they have the propensity to run away. They are just little rascals but they do take off if you don't watch them carefully.
I agree. If you can't take care of an animal then don't own one.

I live in Southern California and we experience earthquakes every day. But they are so small we don't feel the vast majority of them. We are waiting for the "big one" according to seismologists and it should happen soon.
We have a mountain range here in Los Angeles county that runs east and west and not north and south. This phenomena is the earths structure that has to do with the thousands of faults here in Southern California. According to the experts this part of the American continent will some day separate and go it's merry way westward!
I wasn't so lucky but it was my fault. The result was stage 3 colon cancer but I'm fine now. Yeah, I should have had better eating habits but it was a lesson because I do now!!
I am from Colorado so I have gone goose hunting many times. I have never observed a goose or a duck come back to assist a fallen companion because there are usually 2 or 3 hunters blasting away and I only see the geese flying away as fast as they can to escape the gun shot.
It is probably when a predator has attacked the flock is when they do that because their wing strikes are very painful and can break bones!

That's ok. You don't have to explain the Spanish praising. God created Spanish, and HE understands it and speaks more fluently than anyone else!!
By the way, my brother. In my church we praise God with the Blues. Complete with all the instruments you could imagine. I play percussion and the congas. Yes. God loves congas, too!
