I go to a Pentecostal church and our praise music is? The blues!
I jam for Jesus on the Congas and other percussion instruments and our Pastor is the lead singer! Our lead guitar player is also a pastor and a professor of theology!
So, my brother, too bad I'm not in Bali so we could jam together!
PS: I get a lot of funny looks too with the women I date and the women I don't date but accompany to events. One of the most hilarious examples is when I go with one of my daughters out to eat. People think this old codger is hitting on some young babe and we get a big laugh from those that become vocal about it! Yeah, they do say some pretty mean and stupid things but who cares!
Although I do not find the ash ceremony important in my life but I am greatly appreciative and thankful to you for your beautiful blog giving all praise and credit to the one who gave His life for us. And that day will be commemorated when this rite ends in 40 days.
I am not a member of any religion but I attend church regularly and love my holy God. And I thank our eternal Father for the birth and death of His son to redeem us and I do this on a daily basis. I don't wait for "special days" because everyday with Him is special! Amen!!
Your not going to hell anyway. Hell is for sinners so unless you got DRUNK or if the beer caused you to sin then you are just fine. Besides how drunk can you get on $5 worth of beer?

I never gave it a thought when I was married whether my wife ever took too much time. She always looked dynamite!
I suppose that's why she worked so hard in front of the mirror. Not that it would have made any difference because she was pretty anyway. BUT, she satisfied herself and that was the whole point.

I can dig it!!! Gulls are definitely funny and neat to watch. Makes you think if we are humans are really that intelligent! Or smarter than any animal for that matter. I just don't like the survival fo the fittest thing!

Don't be feeling bad aboutnot being married at 27. It will happen. As for me I am sorry to say that my young marriage at 23 turned out sour. BUT, I have a beautiful daughter that I wouldn't trade for anything. She is one of the most wonderful things in my life!
