You must love your Mom very much because she is in every story and she's got a huge role in them. Mom's are sweet! They love us forever!!!
I also noticed something about your picture. You have this mischevious look about you that tells me you are full of mischief! Just like your stories! I'll bet your very popular among all your buddies and you keep them laughing.
Another great romp into childhood. I am hoping you continue to write and I await the next story!
Patorachoo!!!! That is a classic. My first name is Ed so I get kidded and called "Mr. Ed" all the time. I love it. Mr. Ed was an American TV series about a talking horse named Mr. Ed.
When I was a kid I would up this Chinese Elm tree growing on the side of the house. We also had some huge Cotton Wood trees in the front that were too big to straddle so I never climbed those.
And pets! I had 2 dogs named Bozo and Tiny. I remember them like it was yesterday!
Thanks for making my memories pop up. Oh yeah! One more from me. Our Mom was a wonderful cook. The neighbor kids would come over to visit just to have a hot tortilla with butter on it made by Mom!
That is a hard question to answer and it's not only on CS. I have been alone and looking for 17 years and I will not stop. I look at the women I like and they want more than I can give or have. And the women that are interested in me I don't have an interest in. I know. It's crazy but that's the way life is.
I want but cannot have. I can have but don't want. There must be a happy medium there, but I haven't found it.
Believe me when I say that you are beautiful. So just stay the way you are!
I have a good joke for you about beauty!
This woman found out she was dying so she asked God to give her a longer life because she was still young. God granted her request and He said, "you will live for 20 more years".
The woman was so happy she went out and got all the plastic surgery done she could find possible and made herself younger and beautiful looking.
Two weeks later she dies and when she ends up at the pearly gates she asked God why He had promised her 20 years but instead she died shortly after.
God looks at her, blinks his eyes and replies, "GIRL! I didn't recognize you"!
Yes, you are very wise to wait and depend on our Creator!
When I was a young man I rushed into marriage because I had the knucklehead idea "I was getting too old". I was 23 years old at the time and I couldn't wait any longer. Five years later I was divorced. The second time I got married was 5 years later and the same thing. Divorce.
You are wise to wait and see and I just wished I had known God because I would have waited for HIM to lead me.
How much do you care for her? Then if the feelings are there commit a little and see where it goes. Maybe she can be a good friend if it doesn't work out.
Women do believe in love but with the "right guy" and only they know who that is. I know! It's a mysterious thing but it's gotta be left alone because if you try to figure it out it will get you nowhere except in trouble. Now, all you have to do is find the "right woman" because she's out there waiting for you.
I am 70 years old and I have never made them. You just can't keep them no matter what! Growing old is the better way to make change. It will come naturally.
Take it from an old geezer like me. First of all, just make your mind up and say "It doesn't matter" and just walk away. In time you will laugh like I have many times about the absurdity of wanting someone that didn't want me!
