You have come to the right place for fun and brawls! Join us with some wisdom, humor or just do what pleases you. As for me, I usually stay out of the brawls!
I'm not a lady so I offer no opinion on your looks but I wouldn't anyway. I am a brother with this advice.
Just ask her out. If she says "No" then move on. If she says yes then you have scored. Her saying no is not a sign that your looks have anything to do with it. So, go for it!
I think her English is more of a (for lack of generational gap language usage) Hip Hop word creation that most young people use nowadays. i think it's really cool although I wouldn't use it.
For example note how she used the word(s) lastme. She was actually writing "last time". I find it pretty intelligent that she was able to create a new word to eliminate two. I don't think I could really get into it but it is pretty neat how she uses her brain.
I'm having a great day! Just playing my video solitaire and checking on the blogs. My son gets a chuckle out of my "video games"! I like Solitaire better than the mind boggling shoot'em up at a rapid rate games. They're too frenetic! hee hee
Here's hoping you and everyone else is also having a great and blessed day!
I think we all got her message just fine despite the very small limitations in English. And if you read her later comment she rectified the typo from simply to simple.
Now, let me ask you this? Did you see your English error? "They" instead of "there"?
BTW, I have some friends near my hometown in Colorado that found a small tree or bush very similar to your mural and made a family tree out of it by hanging pictures of the family on it! Voila, a family tree!
Jim Carrey is the funniest man in comedy since Pee Wee Herman.
The shot of him moving his arm waaaaay back as if it were dislocated was so realistic I just reeled with a "eeeman!" look on my face and a gut feeling of wanting to retch! But it was still funny!
If you belong to a religion then you do adhere to a belief system. I do not belong to any religion. I go to a bible based church and we believe in the word of our lord Jesus Christ. And, yes, in a religious belief you must take sides.
Too many times a religion will impose man made rules on you. A bible based faith relies only on the word of God. The pastors interpretation must be simple and clear without any opinions like religion has. I have found much scripture that appears to be contradicting itself. And there one must decide what God really meant.
The bottom line is this. Love the Lord God almighty with your whole heart and soul. And love your neighbor as yourself.
It's all actually pretty simple when you don't have religion.
God does not require you to ignore people. Case in point. If a friend needs a helping hand and you are on your way to church God wants you to help your friend. God has amazing patience so the merchant should have waited on you then continued his prayers.
That sounds like my old friends, Charlie and Bill!
Charlie has passed on and I have lost touch with Bill. But the great fishing, sporting events, having fun at the gigs are still in my mind as if it were only yesterday!
I used to get carded when I went into a bar for years. Now I get carded when I get on the bus as a "Senior Citizen". How's that one for a belly blaster!
When I get carded for the "Senior Citizen" thing I always manage to get a chuckle or two with the remark. I ask for a double discount because I am also a "Senor Citizen"!!!
The sibling rivalry in my family was very prominent, badly so, in my family of brothers and sister. One sister at age 86 still gets mouthy and her kids are just as blunt to the point I have just stayed away from them.
But my kids are the best. They love each other with lots of love and my G-kids are right there with lots of love. I am fortunate. So very rarely do I visit my siblings, what's left of them, and spend lots of time with my kids and G-kids!
I always get compliments how I look younger. Yeppers, Mom & Dad get the credit. They also passed on to me how to get along with people. I love them for many reasons but those two are pretty good!
I forgot to mention. My middle name was given to me by the parish priest in our hometown church. It was taken from an apostle and also the name of the church!
OK Shay! Let's start with the important stuff first. You are absolutely correct in saying you are not pretty! And that's because you are beautiful. I love your beautiful face and I love seeing your array of pictures. Each time a new one comes up I like to stare at your beauty for a long time! I love and respect you as I do a number of women on CS!
My name is Ed and it came from the horse, "Mr. Ed"!! hee hee Just kidding. Years ago there was an actor and singer named Eddie Cantor. That's where Mom picked my name. And coincidentally my last name also begins with a "C" just like Eddie Cantor.
If Dad would have had his way it would have been "Ciro". A popular latino name. And if my uncles would have had their way it would have been Jose Luis in honor of the then newly crowned boxing heavyweight champion of the world, Joe Louis. Jose Luis is Joe Louis in Spanish.
I have never really thought about liking or disliking my name. but I like it when people call me Mr. Ed which kiddingly makes reference to that rascally talking horse.
