That's the last thing to worry about and I mean that as friendly advice. Just join us on the blogs, "meet" people and start a relationship with some nice lady if she is interested in you.
I am sure women gets "tons" of flowers in this silly "flower me" game! I send them occasionally but the time has to be right and heartfelt.
I love to sleep and yes I get up about 2 times a night to go to the B/R but when it finally gets to 530 a.m. then it's time to get up. I'm usually conked out about 10 p.m. each night!
Keep writing, buddy! It's my trip down memory lane of a Dad I loved very much. I just wished we could have been closer. And that didn't come into a realization of the actual meaning until I got older. But I still remember Dad with a great fondness of a little boy drinking his Pepsi with Dad!
You are so right about being slapped around by your family when your young! I had 11 siblings and all are gone except for 5 of us. Now we get along but what a waste of life when we all could have gotten along!
Just keep blogging, man! Yeah! Life can be a bummer but you just gotta make the best of it! Do you like sports? Just going to the bar and having a drink!
Have fun and blog alot. Or, maybe like I do, blog a little. I like to read them and filter out the ones that don't interest me. And stay away from the arguments.
I moved to California from Colorado when I was 17 and by the time I was 50 I was in need of some good ol' home town.
Penny candies! Who can forget that! I ran into the former owner of the Cottage Grocery when I moved back. His name is Herb Ervin and I thanked him for being so nice to us when we were kids. I would by a nickels worth and he would always put it in a small paper bag! he would smile and say "Thank You"! I was surprised he was still alive but I was grateful because my thanks to him was long over due!
Nice story. I take it that you were thinking of giving the homeless man the $50? Yeah, you sound like your a giver!
Several years ago I went back home because I was trying to get out of a severe depression problem. I went to work for this wealthy guy and his wife and for 6 years it almost seemed like we were family. They treated me as a family member instead of as a hired hand. I shared many great and happy moments with my ex-employers and I will always be grateful to them for helping me out.
That may be what will happen with this older couple if you went to work for them.
Too bad he isn't joining us. We could've made a difference in his outlook on life!
All he needed was a good dose of Parti's humor, and Virgo's car stuff and Serendipity's excellent Jesus blogs! Hey! It's all here and it's just for us. And we ain't sharing!
Don't worry about it. It's been pretty well covered that being free (without charge and of speech) isn't the end of the world. Facts don't lie so just keep posting!
I'm not sure why the mods want a picture because it could be anyone else and not the owner of the profile. Oh well, we all know that. I just couldn't help saying it again because it just needs to be said again.
And I vote with all the others that it's good to see your picture because you are a very pretty woman.
I have a Doro phone made by Consumer Cellular and I can talk about it on this site because it is an advertiser!!!
It's for old geezers and geezerettes. It makes a call, receives a call, has 2 games I never play, takes a message and a couple of more apps which I never use.
He's a quiet dude. Many people are like that and quite frankly it is difficult to be able to understand them. He will never change unless there is a radical feeling that he must open up to be with you.
i don't see anything wrong in you wanting him to understand you and wanting him to open up. On the other hand if you really like him then you have to accept him like he is.
Personally speaking I don't think I could fall for someone like that. I gotta have my woman enjoy things I do and laugh with me and talk to me.
I like it so far. Thanks for inviting me to jump in and have fun! I gotta get some speakers on my PC so I can listen to the music too. See you at "Taps"!
In the real world "Taps" actually reminds me of a bar we used to inhabit called The Shortstop" when I worked for the Los Angeles Dodgers many years ago. Rumor had it at the time that the owner, a columnist by the name of Bob Hunter for the long gone Herald Examiner, named it after Maury Wills the great shortstop for the Dodgers.
The old time ball players, when ball players were REAL ball players, used to stop in regularly. They joined the writers and the office staff and the game time personnel. Rounds of drinks were bought and everything that happened at The Shortstop stayed at The Shortstop. So don't ask me about the old time players. Come to think of it. Many of you won't even know Maury Wills from Zoilo Versailles. So those stories are safe! It was quite a group.
RE: Look wht i have got today in my mail..arent i luck
I got the same letter about 6 months ago.Never thought they would use to open accounts with it but it makes sense.
