Yeah! Ordway, Colorado was just like that back in the 40's and 50's. I moved back in the year 1990 to clear my head. It wasn't the same. All the people I knew were gone or dead.
Other than roses or chocolates the field is wide open. I know these 2 things are the "norm" but anything else might be wrong! Do you have Jellie Bellies in Ireland? They're just small expensive jelly beans but their cool and everyone likes them!

My son is still paying but he makes lots of bucks and so does his wife! His wife is paying off too! Tonite I'm going to win the lottery and pay them off for them!!!!
There used to be a bumper sticker years ago that said: "God said, I believe it, That's it". Pretty much summarizes what I think too! The holy word in the bible is good enough for me!
Wow! Dressage! I built an arena for this lady years ago. An indoors one at that! I didn't know what dressage was then nor how the arena was supposed to be but with all her coaching I did it and she was real happy!
Looking back it was just moving dirt around and compacting it just right!
What I used to do was walk into the waiting room and comfort people by hugging them and telling them things will get better! It was so sad to see so many just depressed. Not me. i am a happy dude and i conveyed that even though I was in level 3 cancer. I was really weak but I was still happy.
After the treatment was finished I visited the treatment room and would give pep talks!
I take it your question on the sudden change was about your son.
It's easily explained. Your son was showing you his love by letting you "fly" him across the room. He was doing a fun thing with Mom. But suddenly a "mishap" occurred and it was time for him to take control and he did like a real Superman!
I'd say that kid is a man in a small boys body! The "change" was to protect his loving mother!

I have cancer too but it is stabilized and I feel real healthy. It took me a couple of years after may last treatment but I'm good!
I don't think this man was serious about having a relationship. And absolutely nothing against you. But many people abandon their interest with a woman cancer victim especially if she had to have a mastectomy. Pretty bad but pretty common.
Naw, I have a mute button which I keep on all the time because I only watch sports TV. Those sports guys know absolutely about what's going on and the fact that they just repeat what you just saw proves it.
And when the commercials come on I get up and do something else.

I know it's too sad of a story but on the other hand I will be reciprocating friendship and company to a young man, at that time, that could have laughed at me like everyone else was. But he didn't and I am fortunate for his friendship and I will be there for this buddy!
OK, laughing and joking is good, but I won't at this one. It's my beliefs and no judgement coming from me because everyone has freewill. Nuff said about this one by me!
