I answered this kinda in another blog, but what I didn't say was this!
Get married to a person that rips you apart, is greedy and only "needs" you to satisfy their demands and it will teach to be more resilient and careful. I experienced that with my last wife 35 years ago. I left her and suddenly she "wanted me back", but I just walked away because she wasn't going to change. It was all about her. She remarried and that husband left her 15 years ago. She called me and asked my why I left her.
I had to laugh. I answered her that I told her 20 years ago. She said, "tell me again". So I repeated what she did and I stated above which was that she was greedy and everything was about her she replied, "That's what my second husband told me when he left me"!
Don't walk wounded. Just walk around with your head held up high because if you were right you will be vindicated by your good actions!
Today is gloomy and cool and rainy but not the gripping cold (for us here in So. California it would be 40 to 50 F) that we had in December, January and February!
Just listen to what I am saying. Young people treat love like a dreamy idealistic thing so they have lots of drama imagining singing a song in the middle of a corn patch and the girl behind you just waiting for you. I used to have love ideals that were "dreamy".
Old people, and I speak with lots of experience, love but not in the same way. It is either there or it's not.
Very nice. But it's for the young only because they are still searching for meaning in their life and in their love. And it's good that they have feelings to express because your young and it's good.
An old coot like me says ok and if it doesn't work out then it's goodbye forever. No looking back. But, yes, I dreamed as a young man. And I tried to figure love out but it's not that way anymore.
Mom's!!! Mine was the the best. I am grateful to the Lord God Almighty, she was a devout believer as well, blessed her with a long long life and a healthy one at that. One day she died because she was just tired and she died happy I'm sure!
C'mon, post some music. Invite someone to dance as soon as the ladies start getting on. NYE 2 years ago we partied about 24 hours on one blog. When it was finished it had over 500 comments and was either 600 or close to it! It was a blast!
