Did you join in on Shanyra's "1000 Comment" blog? It's not too late because it's past the 500th comment and still going strong. That was pretty different!
I have started a diet of chicken & fish, fruit, vegetables, grains, real fruit juice and exercise walking with a little jogging. I have lost 25 lbs so instead of hovering around 185-190 as I am in my profile picture I now weigh 160.
It didn't take long but it was kinda hard at first because my stomach wanted steak and potatoes. But you get used to it.
I wished you would have joined us on Shanyra's party blog, "Blog of 1000 Comments". It didn't make 1000, yet, but it has the new CS record of the most comments on any blog!
Check it out for all the good music and the carrying on. I know that I will re-read it tomorrow because we were all talking so much I missed some stuff people said to me. Hey! just like a real party!
I'm sorry you weren't able to make our party on Shanyra's blog, "Blog of 1000 Comments". Take a look at it anyway. IT IS LOOOOOONG! I am sure you will enjoy all the songs we logged on and all the carrying on. It went for about 12 hours and it now holds the new CS record for the most comments!
By the way, Shanyra and I are going to have a blog going and your invited, as well as everyone else, to the party. Shanyra's NYE starts at 7 pm California time so Florida would be what? 9 pm? Please join us!
Wow, and I thought I was the only one with "the problem".
Actually I gave that up a long time ago and now I just wait for them to say Hi first then I respond with happiness and things always go well after that even if it's just the greeting continuing or longer chats.
I was reading an article in the Los Angeles Times (CA) that tomatoes are being picked green and sprayed with chemicals to make them ripen in transit to the stores. Even then they are partially green and you have to keep them in a ripening mode on your counter at home.
That said, bananas are also coming into the stores completely green and you take them home and ripen them. Probably also sprayed with chemicals and there, probably, is part of the taste your experiencing.
Gone are the days when you could drive to a farmer for fresh veggies and fruit. Yeah, we have open markets as a weekly thing in our town main street but I often wonder how "farm fresh" these things are.
RE: Soooo Bored......Looky, Carol, Morgan all gone!!
