Yeah! I know what you mean about kids. i divorced my ex 35 years ago when the kids were young and the ex used to hassle me every time I would pick them up and about other things too. I moved away and I hated doing that because they would grow up and I would miss those years. BUT, everything is great now. She is still the same old nagging woman and I am enjoying the kids, albeit they are grown up, and the kids kinda have to make their mother back off alot.
That said, I know what you mean about kids growing up. I wonder how it would have been being around them during those years. But I have them now with no interruptions.
Your depression is something that no medicine can medicate. Mom used to call it "a broken heart" with all the things you named. I don't know if you believe in God but HE has sure helped me get a grip on myself when I get sad.

i was hoping you would take a look. Yeah, my G-daughter is beautiful. She doesn't like to hear that though so I compliment her in different ways like telling her she is wise to study as hard as she does and stuff like that! Her eyes and lip smile when I say that to her.
And when I give her a hug and a smech on the cheek like I do her Mom, my sweet and precious daughter.
It all depends on what makes me sad so you may see something in the examples I am submitting.
My nighttime job! I am really beginning to get exhausted with the pressure and lack of sleep. Lack of sleep really gets me down. Although it is nice to take nap during the midday and that could happen soon if I get the transfer I asked for. I would get home at 2:30 pm and I could nap then.
I forget to drink water now and then. I have always been a big Pepsi drinker so I have to make myself remember water too.
Thinking of old "stuff" like families and the way they used to treat me. But I make myself think of my kids and g-kids and they are a healthy and wonderful thought!
Maybe you see something or maybe it gives you an idea on your problem.

Hi Shay! I am finally honored by your arrival and now your comment as well. I am so fortunate that my family has turned out the way they have. My kids all have great jobs, they have or will have their degrees soon. And the G-kids are headed in the same direction!
Exactly so! It's going to be a lifelong dedication to my family because they never let me down when I was having terrible times in my life that included drugs and other unspeakable things. They don't hold anything against me for all the bad I did. They have looked the other way and support me to the fullest.
I told them the truth about why I did what I did and they still love me.

What I didn't get from my siblings I get a lot of from my children and G-kids. I used to get so sad when I was a kid by the way my brothers and sisters treated me I decided that would never happen when I had my own family!

Yeah, I have a great family. Here's a little history on my G-kids. My ex is Hungarian, my Hispanic/Hungarian daughter married a Japanese man. The granddaughter looks all Japanese and the G-son looks more like the Hispanic side.
I'm so proud of them. My G-daughter is a National Honor Society member, the (next year) ASB Vice-President and she's headed for the medical school.
My G-son is an athlete like his G-Pop. But like me he's short like me but he may still make it in college. He's pretty young so he has a way to go!
My exact sentiments. Nothing to hide then don't worry, respect everyone and that means the meanies (you don't have to acknowledge them just love them as God has directed) and if you don't have anything nice to say!! Don't say it!
If you have nothing to hide then there is no reason to be scared. I don't, so therefor, I am free of any fright! I support the CIA and applaud their efforts to find out who is against us. I like feeling secure and unafraid!

Here in the US the new craze is "Cupcakeries". Instead of bakeries they just make cupcakes of all flavors and types. The bad part is they cost $3 each. It's a fad and I won't support a fad!
Not so! There are men who love and here is a mini-story about my marriage.
I was very much in love with my wife and I would do many things for her. It didn't work because she thought all of the things I gave her and did for her was her "absolute right" as my wife. She never once understood it was my love for her.
I divorced her 35 years ago and I never looked back.
Everyday is really exciting for me as well as any other day of the week. I don't remember the bad stuff from yesterday because it's over and all the good stuff lingers in my mind and makes me happy!

Lachi, I am fortunate to have great children and G-kids. When God planned them HE gave me a list of "Wants & Don't Wants in Kids"! I checked all the good things and HE favored me with wonderful loving children and G-kids!
