Yeah, I remember my best little pal. A dog named Tiny and he was tiny with long red hair and a long tail. He used to guard my bike and he wouldn't let anyone near it.
I moved away from our home and one day on a visit the first little pal I went to see was Tiny. He was old and toothless and about 18 years old at the time. He didn't remember me and with the "old" Tiny intact he gave me a soft bite to tell me to stay away.
Excellent question. It is typical among the Hispanics for the elders to stay with their family and usually a daughter.
I have gone to such homes for various reasons and i have often wondered about that too. I am still pretty fit for my age and if I live to be 99 years old like my mother, who was really strong at that age, I may not have to go to such a residence. But I don't think it would be all that bad.
Shay, thank you for asking. I am doing real good. A little exhausted because my job has been keeping me busy but everything is fine.
Now that i have the opportunity I want to say that you are one of my favorite people on this site and i really enjoy your blogs and your great pictures! You are a beautiful young woman!
I don't want to miss church because I love to worship and praise (I play congas and percussion in the praise band and we play Gospel Blues) but we've been putting a humongous amount of time in at work and I go to work again Sunday night and I don't want to be exhausted. It is 1:30 am for me and it would be a normal time for me to be up but by 5 or 6 am I will be ready to go to sleep!
SO, I will also have breakfast here pretty soon and hang around to see and maybe comment on the blogs!
I wish you all a good time today and I'll keep in touch, as I said before, on the blogs!
If you care for someone then by all means go for it because you can work out something between you if your serious about each other. The only thing is since I am Christian I would want a Christian woman.
Your story about your daughter touched me deeply. You want the best for her. You are surely nominated as a best father for your terrific and kind insight.
When I got divorced 35 years ago my ex became very hostile with our children. I was in turmoil about that and the job I had with the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team. I made up my mind to "quit" being around the kids because of the obsession their mother had for them so I left. I was in severe depression for about 10 years but during that time the one thing in my mind was my children and how one day I would be free to see them whenever I wanted to. I was sad but in my heart I was glad even though I knew I would miss alot of their growing up years.
Yes, I am an old man now and my children have grown up BUT I can see them whenever I want. And that I do! This afternoon I will see them and we will have lunch together. On April 21st we will go visit their sister in Oregon. All of us will be together. Yes, I am an old man now and a few years were wasted but now we are together.
All praise and glory goes to our Almighty God in his son, Jesus Christ, name!
And speaking fo birds flying into windows. When I lived in Colorado I worked for this man and woman that had an African Grey parrot that mimicked everything and everyone to perfection. Out in the yard running around were 2 road Runners and this parrot copied the RR sound so good that the RR's would come to the window to investigate this "rebel" RR!
yusfull, I am 71 and i have enjoyed every minute of my life. Even during the worst of times because I got past them. I read most of the comments so I hope you are feeling better!
WOW! I am so sorry to hear that! I hope you can convince her to return because, even though I rarely "spoke" to her on CS, I considered her a friend because she was such a sweetheart. See what you can do!
I agree with Frank. Majed is crazy about Bambina and he was overwhelmed by the desire to show his love for her! Was it wrong to do it like he did? Maybe! Maybe not!
Majed: I agree with you. The Bambina girl is beautiful and your fortunate that she chose you. I pray Gods blessings for both of you!
1. Gods love! 2. THE Fathers hug! 3. All of her. And I don't have to lay down on her. As long as she stands by me that comfort is better than a chest or shoulder1 4. Gods kiss! 5. The Holy Spirit! 6. Jesus Christ heart! 7. The Lord Jesus Christ! 8. Everything you mentioned is a good second.
Why does everyone pick on this man? All he is doing is asking people for an answer when he has problems. All he is doing is blogging what is on his mind. The man is completely harmless and, yes, he has a right o be on here.
It's been said before and I will say it again. If you don't like him or his blogs just do as I do to many of the blogs on this site. I merely ignore.
C'mon, lets all have the heart that Jesus Christ gave all of us!
It's like about 70 or so in La Verne, CA. still a little too chilly for me but the weather has been great. We had alot of rain last weekend and we are getting some more this weekend.
Like Shay, I like rain and I am looking forward to the weekend.
The second photo reminds me of a house I remodeled inside and out with an "adobe" look. I mixed the plaster in the house and I used a small gravel mixed in with the sand to do the inside. I styled the corners of the room with little "nooks" like that.
I did the exterior with a rough looking swipe of my trowel to create a stucco look that was pretty different. i had a happy client on that job!
I love my kids with my whole heart and soul, but I wished I had the same lifestyle you have because I would really be a wanderer. I'm happy, though, because God blessed me with some great off-spring that I am truly proud of.
RE: "WHY DO PEOPLE FALL IN LOVE??"
You are absolutely right about not hanging onto love when it is no longer there. Just move on.
