I have all I need. Jesus Christ, my children and my grandchildren, I still have 4 siblings, a home, a 1999 jalopy that still gets 32 miles to the gallon, a job and the list goes on of beautiful and wonderful things in my life. What more could a guy want? I am so blessed. Amen!!!
How sweet and a good suggestion. I do things like that sometimes even if people think I'm weird. But I don't care because God says to love my neighbor.
Being single, Latino and irresponsible I never got into the Christmas decoration thing. But I do like the beautiful lights and displays. Some people here in La Verne, CA really put on a light show at their homes.
I was reading in the LA Times about this entrepreneur that grew Christmas trees in pots. He rented them out and some people/customers actually rented the same tree every year. As a courtesy to those that planned on "keeping" their tree he would tag it and the customer picked it up once a year.
My son has a cat that does the same posing and cute things. I really like kitty because its personality is so mellow. He can lie on your lap and and act like it's the softest pillow in the world.

I used to work for a Recreational Vehicle repair store and one of the things we sold was propane which is extremely volatile and will explode with great force.
We had signs all over the place saying "No Smoking within 25'", but wouldn't you know it! There was always someone walking around with a cigarette dangling from their lips.

I think people get hung up on looks way too much. I like to see/read your blogs and that makes you attractive because you are intelligent and you appear to be down to earth. That's all that matters.

I think I will believe the bible which is the sole word of God. I have more faith in Him and what was revealed to Paul, Matthew, Mark and all the apostles and prophets that know firsthand about his death and resurrection, Amen!
It's very hard. I cannot find the courage to go to funerals.
When mother passed away I was in total shock. I couldn't stand to be there thinking about the woman that brought me into this world. Mom was a very kind person always doing something for others. But at 99 years of age when she passed on no one that she knew other than us kids was at her funeral. All her friends had passed before her. It was cold and snow falling. It was miserable.
I will pray for you to find the words. Just have courage.
The 2 pets that I was crazy about were a small mongrel named Tiny when I was a kid and a Tom Cat named KC when I had grown up.
These 2 pets supplied me with fond memories because they were such good pals and pets. They were calm and just stood by me whenever I needed a little bit of cheering up.
I don't know. I can't explain what I just said. It's just that they were always there.
This what my pastor says: If you want to go to dinner with someone then ask them out. If you want to hear their voice call them up. If you want to share then do it.
You must initiate the social thing first if you want people to know your available after a terrible loss.
I'm pretty much a loner because I don't want anyone to impede on my choices like where to go, how long to stay and who pays what.
But, if I invite a buddy then we split the bill as to what you order. If I take a lady out I pay the bill.
C'mon and do it. There's a friend or lady, if your ready, out there waiting for you!

I don't like to do a back to back posts but the North Dakota job offer looks pretty true. I didn't seek details but they look like they may even help with relocating you.
Nothing exceptional about the last 18 months. But my new year resolution is to do more fishing!
Speaking of work. I blogged this to another person and it may work out for you. I was reading in the local paper that the State of North Dakota is looking for workers because of the lack of people to fill all the positions available. At my age I still like to look at women. And I see her beauty and admire it. I don't say a word to embarrass her and especially me. Then I pass her and by the time tomorrow is here I have forgotten this woman. But with an eye out to admire the next one.
That was hilarious. I don't usually participate in this type of humor in a public setting but in this case I will because of my flatus moments. Something I dread but I cannot control.
I have colon cancer. Although it is stabilized my doctor has ordered me not to withhold anything from that part of the anatomy. It's very embarrassing at times and I continually have to excuse myself from being around others.
When I can't escape quickly enough I too experience those duck call and bear repellent moments. And I must say they can be really embarrassing.
I thank the Lord for healing me and guiding the doctors that performed all the surgeries and exams.
Yes, learn more about my parents family tree! What about the country where they were from. What was their journey like here. Things I now wonder about.
Then there were the times I was not too obedient and I know now I hurt them. All those times that I could have done things different for them because they sacrificed alot for me.
