That's so funny! I have never heard that this is the day for a lady to propose to a man. But why not? Whatever works for the both of you is good!
Out of curiosity I just googled to see the stats on ladies proposing and there were so many I decided to just chuckle more. But there were lots of related stories!
Definitely and i have been that way all my life. Did I miss out on some opportunities to date a fine looking woman? Maybe, but there were those that I did date and i have never looked back
IF one can find a partner willing to work with you and understands that the both of you have to put much effort into your future then it will work.
Employment would not be a problem if you are willing to do what it takes to make a living. Especially here in America, but I'm sure its pretty much the same in other countries. There are exceptions so don't go to those countries.
I am 71 and I will never grow up and that is why I have long hair now. My profile shot is about 2 years ago and my hair was somewhat long then. But now it is real LONG!
Mom loved wrestling matches and her favorite was a Mexican wrestler named Ricky Moreno, I think?? Anyhow, she was a mild mannered lady UNTIL she watched wrestling on TV or in person. She would get all pumped and scream her head off at the the Ref or the'bad guy"!
Perhaps God is telling you that this young man you desperately love is NOT the right man for you. Listen to HIM. You can find the right man in places like church and church functions. Give it a try. You may like it more than you think!

I have never seen a bunch of prettier women in my life than I am looking at right now on this blog alone. That goes for the many other ladies that we gab with. I think all the guys would agree with me!
I am doing real well. I work nights and it's kinda beating me up but I'm good. I hope you stay on for a while this time. Better yet, don't leave and yack at us once in awhile!
You have really taken some great pictures of yourself. Is someone taking the shots or are you doing it by yourself inasmuch you have a degree in Journalism. Is it Photojournalism?
