Stormlady before you make the broad statement that finding decent men nowadays you should state your idea of a decent man. I have been called a fool by many females because by upbringing I had to treat them like ladies.
Every man is a decent man. The problem is that he may not meet your expectation. After you have lived with a man for fifty years then you may be in a position to say he is not decent.
Maybe instead of saying it is hard to find a decent man you should try and bring out the best in those that you meet.

But you know, just because a guy wear double blazers that means he's decent, sometimes, he's a drug lord, or a corrupt government official. And just because he wears baggy clothes and ride a bike doesn't mean he's irresponsible. Sometimes, he's just a poor college student..
