I'm not long woken --logged on c/s --and go straight to blogs to see if there is anymore news on your condition --and hey ho ,, there you are blogging !! that is so wonderful ! delighted to see you back Cat --I and many others here were worried about you ,,and you have been in our thoughts .

one pair of good shoes for going out in the evening --and one pair of good walking shoes --
and definitely bring slippers and lightweight dressing gown

yes definitely bring a suit !!,,,
you say , you will be able to have clothes laundered when you're there ?
well then bring clothes for 10 days --
ie enough for 1 week --then launder as you head into beginning of second week
bring plenty of tshirts and shorts --couple of jeans -
couple of good trousers and 4/5 nice shirts for going out at night -- a lightweight rain jacket ,,something waterproof --there you go ,,,sorted

I know !!!
but apparently it's just for one day --so I doubt I will get a tan but hey ,, we here in Ireland have to enjoy every single second of the sunshine ,,, we don't get much of it ,, and there could be hailstones on Tuesday !
even though it will rainy season where you are travelling to Teddy ,, it's still going to be very hot ! bring plenty of cool light clothing

there are some beautiful dishes there i'm sure --but some are really unusual dishes that may not be to your liking --but i'm sure your special lady will advise you well on what to avoid

As regards the presents for her ,i'm sure there will be a gift shop in the airport when you reach your final destination --you can buy her flowers and chocolates there so both will be presented to her fresh

my mother always threatened if she ever heard us using curse words , she would wash our mouths out with soap ! and she meant it !!! needless to say ,, the Fword was never heard in our house growing up , and if anyone would be heard on the tv using it ,, she would change the channel immediately !:-)

well , I didn't grow up hearing that kind of language --my parents never used the Fword or anything resembling curse or swear words -
I don't either as a rule --but have been known to let it slip out a few times in my life
I feel wether in real life or in movies ,, everyone can get their point across without using swear words
but then , i'm maybe way too old fashioned in my outlook :-)
