and can i say first off , how absolutely wonderful it is to read your blog
It is brilliant --well done
Yes indeed , stress is a very big contributor to both physical and mental illness --and to be fair , for most people in today's fast paced world, it is extremely hard to avoid stress
I myself am guilty of this --after coming home from a shift at the hospital , and sometimes worrying about a particular patient / or work that i have to do tomorrow !
But ,i just say to myself ,, i have left the hospital now --i have done the very best i can for my patients that day --i can do no more . A very good piece of advice for everyone is is take one day at a time --focus on one day --tomorrow will take care of itself

i'm sure you are all very proud of her
it sure is handy to have medical experience --especially in times when family illness occurs .
I am the only person in my family in the nursing profession -so everyone calls me for advice too
Nurses are nurses 24/ 7 --and we wouldn't want it any other way

It is lovely to have a family member in the nursing profession --someone to ask advice re medical matters
i'm sure your sister's advice and support was invaluable during your aunt's illness

it is an honor and privelege to work with terminally ill patients and their families -absolutely no thanks are ever necessary --for us as nurses , our ultimate goal is to ease their symptoms , keep the patient painfree , and to maintain their dignity right to the end .

it is a shame that daily bond is gone now--
but it sure was good while it lasted and i will always fondly remember , those on the blogs ,who i miss so very much and i will be forever thankful we touched each other's lives

Your blog was so lovely , dedicated to your aunt that you obviously were so very fond of ...

i'd have 3 men shaved by the time he has that 1 done !!
plus , i don't sing when i am shaving - one has to concentrate on what one is doing - so as not to cause wee nicks in the skin !

paradox has me stumped
all i can say is after many years of shaving my male patients ,i am truly an EXPERT shaving " Barber" lol !!
If i had a penny for every male patient i have shaved over the years , i'd be a very rich lady ! :-)

it has been my dream for a long time -Rome -and especially to visit the Italian Lakes
Friends of mine visited the lakes last year , and said the whole region was breathtakingly beautiful

a similar situation happened to me once 2 years ago
it was horrible ,and so very hurtful .
and i totally agree , it is very selfish for someone to do this to another
everyone in this world deserves basic human respect and good manners -
if a person feels the need to end a relationship , the very least they can do is show decency and inform the person --and not just disappear , leaving so much hurt and unanswered questions --wondering what on earth happened ! Cruel thing to do to anyone
