Hi Glitch For me .. My 2 daughters daily "I love you mammy " My patients smiling up at me -knowing that I have helped in some small way to ease their illness each day. My father -who I just adore spending every single minute with when we are together . Chatting with my friends , long standing as well as new ones -we are there for each other through all life's up's and downs . And writing my beloved poetry , here in Poet's Corner ... to know that my humble words can sometimes make someone smile ,or make them recall a happy memory , or if my words move them , is a joy to me
Hi Simmo , I have to be honest ... I had never heard of Tuit before -I looked it up lol A wonderful blog , which shows once again , especially to those of us who know you best , what a great family man you are Simmo young children have certainly no inhibitions Out of the mouth of babes ,,one will hear the truth , and often plenty of orders too lol As your friends here know so well already ,Trinity is the centre of your world I know how much you enjoy every moment spent with her
But don't be too premature ,,I gotta check with my colleagues tomorrow --you men may have a "yet" and /or a "now " , and you just don't know it yet ! I'll let you know tomorrow evening -and set your mind at rest
We always look forward to you letting us know how things are going Teddy Great to see you here on the blogs tonight Your friends here are delighted all is well with you and Jenny
hi Teddy, all these little memories are what keeps you going until you and Jenny are reunited again It's your way of feeling close to her ..enjoy the coffee and all the memories . Those little souvenirs you will treasure forever Best wishes to you both my friend - F
Nah ... I can't use chopsticks --the food would be well cold -i'd have to use a fork --plus the floor would be covered with rice if I didn't :-( But I have heard before ,that Chinese food does actually taste better when using chopsticks
I agree with K also , when you really want to talk ,good eye contact is a tell tale sign if the other person is really listening
But , on a more light hearted note ...there are also times I must admit , I have listened intently to what someone has told me ,,but then I sometimes forget a part of the conversation ...but that's more to do with me getting old ..my memory ain't what it used to be
As I am sure you have realised by now , no dear Simmo , it was neither myself or KN ;-))
Mike , good to see you back , and sincerely , I am so delighted for you both I wish you both much joy in each other's company . Best wishes to you both
you seemed to have forgotten to acknowledge myself and Chocheta at the top of your blog just a gentle reminder ,I know you are new to blogs --it is usual to answer comments on blogs in the order they are posted
( I did try to message you privately , rather than post this here , but you have Ireland blocked for mail )
