I'm not new to the forums , but i am new to the blogs , and i hope people will get to know me over time . i'm a gentle polite lady , not confrontational in any way , so my posts may be abit bland for some

Thankyou for your kind comments about Ireland --and so true , at the end of the day , it's the people that make any country great
I am ashamed to say , i have never visited Belgium Teddy --tell me a little about it , other than it being famous for it's incredible chocolate ! i'm sure there are many many good places to see and visit there

yes i am really irish Teddy --was born here and love it !
Even though ireland is going through some really difficult finacial problems at the minute , it is still a really lovely place to live
But you know , i was just thinking there a moment ago , how different my life could have turned out --I am a Nurse and after a few years i was offered the chance to leave Ireland and move to Australia to nurse in a hospital in Melbourne . one never knows what direction your life can take i thought about it , but decided i couldn't leave my parents and sisters here in Ireland

Tormented ,i too love the kind of nature programmes you were talking about earlier - especially ones showing elephants / whales , and my all time fav is Dolphins --fascinating creatures ! but there must be some soppy movie that can cause just a slight crack in that concrete that surrounds you ???
