I think the wording you have chosen for your blog is wonderful -so well done
I agree with you , this sure is a great place to "mix and mingle" , and I think it is a real asset of this site that it is indeed international . For us to be talking and forming friendships with people from all across the world is absolutely marvellous .
However I do also agree with Z's comments ....
This may indeed be cyber world ...but as I mentioned earlier in my comment , quite a lot of us here know each other for a long time now ... we have formed deep friendships which are very real genuine and long lasting . True friends are as protective of one another in cyberworld as much as they are in real life .
Yes I repeat , this is an international site , where respect and sometimes a lot of patience and tolerance is needed ,,and yes certainly things can be misconstrued due to language barriers - but personal , hurtful and aggressive attacks ,on a person /s good character ,is unacceptable in both real and cyberworld imho

Not necessarily ..I think it is so wrong to presume that ...

yes of course there will be women ,who will not post their photos because they are indeed hiding something --usually that they are married ...
but some professions do not allow their employees to post images of themselves - myself included

I have nothing to hide ,and plenty here on the blogs and on the poetry have seen my picture -

I would be more concerned ,that when you ask a woman to send you a picture privately and she still refuses --then the alarm bells should go off

Yes indeed , I like many people , go through times of feeling lost ( sometimes I want to be lost ,,just for a little while ) ..but then someone always finds me again-looking for me to work or do something
