McDonald's - Don't go there much.
I was riding along with a friend & we stopped at a MickeyD's.
Friend had a 2 for 1 coupon for a chicken sandwich...two for $4.00.
They were literally four bites...and not really big bites, at that!

At the regular price...$1.00/bite!
Probably the most expensive food I've ever eaten!!

Let us even disregard the implications of the Veterans Today/Pravda article.
There's also timing.

Historically, the U.S. has been less inclined to international ventures during a political (Presidential election) year - 2016.
And, historically, the old USSR seemed to take advantage of that.
That alone would give Putin something over a year to establish Russia as a major force in combating "terrorism".

Good grief! Even I can figure that out!
It'd be incredible to think it escaped the notice of a former KGB Lt. Col.!
