Patriotism, a deep sense of proud about the positives one's country owns, derived from, the bravery and/or heroic acts of its army or the civilians.....the rich cultural heritage...economic and spiritual development, added with the passion of individual clinging to those values aa well....but also admission of the negatives if, prevailing with a tendency to overcome those pitfalls.....IT IS, IN PRINCIPLE, ASSOCIATED WITH THE ASSERTIVE COOPERATION WITH THE WORLD AROUND FOLLOWING THE DOCTRINE OF COEXISTENCE. Though there is a thin line of demarcation between the two, but "nationalism" has an error of perception embodying a sense of insecurity and a tacit urge to dominate. While the former doesn't have a political or ideological inclinations, the later can't do without. As a result, the nationalists are usually seen to be prejudiced, having a minimal temperament to accommodate the voice of dissent, both internally and outside. Just my thoughts.
Sir, I would respond but later because it requires a great deal of elaboration, without which it is hardly possible to get to the insight of the issues or questions you have taken up. And presently I am consumed by the elder daughter's entrance exams for medical studies. I think I would like to post a blog in that respect. And I would like to borrow the title of your blog, for that matter, if you don't mind. Anyways you touched the core subject, which is hotly discussed these years in India, but with a political angle.
I have only one point to point out ...even if you manage to attract someone by way of some technique....I don't think that can make you or him happy, let alone pleased. I suppose be who you are, it must be rewarding some day.
If my memory, only yesterday I was claiming or rather bragging that I have a photographic memory, is failing ? If so, that infers I am getting older ? I couldn't watch the documentary because of dead slow connection. But we should be sensitive to dealing with the mentally ill, particularly to the children, if not we can hardly be called living beings, let alone the humans.
Rejected??? You are no less than any in the world because none is! Everybody occupies one's own space. Though sometimes we feel that I am just useless, it happens universally With all. Just wait, you will get your share! Try to overcome the depression.

Its a common drawback of human nature to stick to the Web of the past and not let go and move on? We watch wishing something to happen. Rarely we are bystanders. And yes I could not locate the fresh man?
