I love when I stumble across a blog that makes me smile. Nothing needs to be added, nothing needs to be challenged. It's just a nice example of a feel good blog. Plus I haven't even watched the video yet. ty
Our local hospital put in the newspaper and online..WE MISS YOU!! Please come for your regular procedures. The hospital is the last place anyone wants to go, because they think they will catch something for sure. It's going to take a while to get back to normal.
I'm hoping that my granddaughter's softball team gets to play some games this summer, I'd be more than happy to watch them play on line. She's in college now and this would have been her first season, so I hope they get some games. They play outside in the fresh air, that's the best place to be right now.
You can't always believe polls with older people, they usually say the opposite to throw people off because they don't like people sticking their nose in there business. So I feel polls are useless.
Sad to say, but that happens in nursing homes all the time. Usually it's the patient assaulting the care givers. My mom and my aunt worked as a team in a nursing home for a couple years and they both had bruises on them from the patients hitting them. Then they also attack each other too. Nursing homes aren't just used for elderly people. The elderly do enough harm, a young person like that could easily kill an older patient.
No I understand the mask rules.The first month they said if you weren't sick you didn't need to wear one. I had one but I was afraid they wouldn't want me shopping in their store if they thought I was sick. Then the next time about half the people wore them. This month the stores all have big signs saying, don't come in unless you are wearing a mask. It wasn't just her, the media asks questions that put people in defense mode. They could have ask anything and they chose to be petty, like always.
Yes I should have spent more time watching that video, I didn't because she was being ridiculous. If anyone was acting like a petulant child it was her. He wore it in the factory, and he chose not to wear it outside the factory and he said why. If anyone was going to get sick from that situation, it would have been him, not the people wearing masks, they were protected.

I knew this was going to be good, so I got my broccoli salad and my berry lemonade and sit down for a read. I wasn't disappointed.
I know exactly what you are talking about, I felt it too. I didn't want to tell the doctor cause it's hard telling what he'd put me on. I knew everyone in the family was ok..still didn't help. Then I spent the afternoon watching my new neighbor totally changing his front yard. This house was home to a couple until they were almost 90. Then my sweet neighbors went to the nursing home and their son sold the house to a young guy, who apparently does not want to mow grass or rake leaves. He cut all the trees down and the two in the front yard he left about 3 feet of trunk and put big beautiful plants on top. Then he put some kind of covering over all the grass and put a small fence around the bottom to hold in lots and lots of white rock. Then he brought all these beautiful flowering plants and set them every where. The guy must be a landscape artist, it is beautiful. When the sun went down my depression was gone and I spent an hour texting my granddaughter telling her how she could cut down on her grass mowing....lol
There is always going to be those people who are not playing with a full deck. FOR EXAMPLE. Going shopping, 9 out of 10 people did it right. Pick one shopper out of the family. You don't need to bring all your kids and their friends, with nothing over their face SHOPPING!!
Biden has a bad memory, and between him and Hilary, she was in better mental shape than what he is. He can only pray that when the debates between him and Trump start, that he's able to wear a face mask. He has this huge 'question mark' look on his face most of the time. He knows there is a White House but he probably couldn't find his way there on a bright sunny day. Trump's cognitive skills are much sharper than his. I feel sad, like I did when Hillary was running. They really need to do better. Democrats have hand picked him so they would have someone easy to push around. It'll be interesting to see if they can pull it off, they did everything but prop Hillary up in front of the podium... then she fell down and they man handled her and threw her in the back seat of the car...it wasn't pretty.
Raph I admit I am out of touch, politics and politicians take so much time, stalling for their own benefit, that I lose interest. A person cannot get an accurate account because all news reporters are bias.
My mom used to have a sweet pot vine growing in her kitchen window, right beside her african violets. They make a pretty vine. I never did have volunteer veggies cause I'd fertilize and turn the ground over every Spring. But I did have some marigolds along the side of the house, the first year they were small little flowers, the second year they were as big as saucers. That was the year I found out I was allergic to them. I had a window right by my desk and I'd have it open in the mornings so I could hear the House Finches singing. Then my eyes started burning and my nose started itching. The small flowers didn't bother me but large ones did. So from then on they got planted in the garden to repel bugs.
Me either but I don't like the way it makes feel. If it's just a small amount of sodium and sugar, that would be ok. But they have no idea what a small amount is, just imagine your heart, liver and kidneys with a coating of 'high fructose corn syrup' around them...just waiting to take them out.
Last time that I went shopping no one had a mask and gloves on but me. I shopped for a whole month. That's hard to do for a whole family but one person can. Plus they were bringing the whole family to the store. Both of my kids families have one person that does the shopping. Last month there were only 2 people in the store. Plus I'm not letting anyone in my house either..not even my kids. None of us have been tested.
