I was going to write a blog....

Gah! The drawing has nothing to do with what I didn't write about.

I got some thc-infused gummies yesterday and I like to draw when I'm umm...."medicated" and so after hemming and hawing over what I didn't and probably shouldn't write about, my mind started to wander and this was the result. dunno

I was going to write a blog....

Actually, I'm a spatula but I'm warming up to that. No, the blog I may write eventually has to do with a project that is quite personal and I don't know how much I want to say here.

Who should I hate today?

Ek, thanks for reading. I can now change the number of readers from 7 to 8!

Biff, it was a response to:

"You should pardon the expression, in favour of the right to bear arms."

Biff, I drew this for you. If you're confused , all the better.

I'll be back later to sort it out if needed.

Trending?

"Facebook is extending its ban on hate speech to prohibit the promotion and support of white nationalism and white separatism."

RE: Some guy called Obama

A now defunct site had the blogs in chronological order as the default setting. A sidebar had the 10 or so last commented on. I personally thought that made more sense and eliminated the threat of......Zombie Blogs!

I think there was a one blog per day limit as well as one comment per blog limit as well. Folks had to be a bit more disciplined and take the chat to the forums.

Eh...f'k it's early...need covefe er sum chit

RE: In the future ..

Sorry you thought the vid was sad. That wasn't my intention. I agree that 10 hr days aren't ideal, but at least for a while it was a 4 day work week. That was then. Now I pretty much do what I want.
grin

RE: In the future ..

Years ago, we (IBEW local 326) unanimously voted for a 4-10 hr. Day work week...which evolved into a 5-10 hr. Day work week. Apparently, a study was done that suggested that a 10 hour day was more productive than an 8 hour day considering breaks, lunch etc.

The 4 day week worked for a while but it was difficult to schedule since there needed to be coverage for 5 days and most wanted Friday off. The work load was such that the company had no problem with paying 10 hours overtime for a 50 hour work week and the union accepted those terms.

It was nice while it lasted though.

But enough about me....

Heh, that's what she looks like when anticipating a morning walk and subsequent cookie. See the tail? It's a blur.

The characters in Walden 2 aren't really important. The reason I mentioned it had more to do with parenting.
Good blog, Biff. Thanks for the fresh air!

Who should I hate today?

I camped at Venice Beach when I first got to southern Cal. It's a long story though and it's time for me to feed and walk my little cuddle monkey.

RE: Online dating sites dying?

Heh, when I was a lineman, part of our rescue training (for someone who's been electrocuted) was to cut them free and lower them by rope (handline) until they were maybe 3 to 5 feet from the ground and drop them the rest of the way.

Who should I hate today?

I don't much care for the city either to be honest but there's always something to do and the weather is hard to beat. Plus it's easy enough to get to the beaches, the surrounding mountains, the desert...

RE: Online dating sites dying?

Is it worth the electricity?
dunno

Who should I hate today?

I do have to see some people there on occasion, but avoid the boulevard whenever possible. I used to be there every day!
doh

Who should I hate today?

Typical day on the walk of fame starting out at the mall near the Chinese theater.

Who should I hate today?

Ok Molly, if I go to Hollywood and hang out on the boulevard for more than 10 minutes I'd find someone to hate at least temporarily, whether it be the hucksters, buskers, or the tourists who are seeemingly devoid of spatial awareness.very mad

RE: Online dating sites dying?

Palm, do you want to dial 911 or should I?

Who should I hate today?

I don't 'know' any horrible people since, in most cases they are easily avoidable. Hey, that just might be one of the keys to happiness!

Biff, hating a new person every day sounds exhausting....and too much like Trump's Twitter account.

RE: In the future ..

Try this, Biff: Read B.F. Skinner's Walden 2 while listening to John Lennon's Imagine....only if you want to, of course.
