Hey Harbal, before this erupts into chaos, I want to thank you (for being a brilliant host), String (for being a good sport and keeping it light-hearted), Jac (for the voice thingy), and everyone else with pure and good intent.
I'm not usually a fan of the more "chatty" blogs but this was fun.
Me and a friend were asked to check on an old who was an aquaintence because his niece hadn't heard from him for some time...
We got to his house and had to break in...and there were stacks of boxes, newspapers, magazines, broken stuff (cat waste) etc. to the extent that I had to literally climb over the stuff to search the rooms. We didn't find him at home and I was relieved to be outside again.
That's not keeping a couple of weeks-worth of food in case of an emergency. I couldn't even figure out where he slept or if there was a toilet and I wasn't about to start digging.
People can make excuses, but when you have to blaze a 'trail' through the junk to find the refrigerator...I'd say there are some issues.
I tend to be quite the opposite these days. In an emergency...Well, I'd be in the same boat as many of the 7billion+ people on this planet...and why shouldn't I be? Why should I deserve more?
Fay, I think "kick it" is more a way of saying "hang out", "chill", etc. The video game thing (gift) was a nice addition. The "blast off" part was what had me the most curious.
I think "blaze" and "faded" are words associated with getting high and probably should have figured it out but I thought we were going somewhere to be honest...then again, I suppose we did.
All blog posts and reactions give information. For better or for worse.
This is a dating site, after all. Finding someone with a similar sense of humor might be as easy as posting something that isn't easily recognized as humor...then sit back and watch.
Harb. I'm sorry I joked about the non-smoking flight on the Hindenburg. It's much too soon....for me to joke about smoking. It's only been like 4 months since I quit!
