China did retreat but not because they got scared. It's just cause they're not ready yet. There's a significant difference.

I did too but then I felt a pain in my left shoulder going up to my jaw. Few minutes later, I dropped to the ground in agony. Turns out, I had a bit of a heart attack. I guess my self-hypnotic abilities are not that good.
But we have literally nothing when it comes to spiritual stuff. Nothing at all. No theory, no math, no nothing. Begs the question: should one therefore give any credence to such stuff given that it is all absolutely baseless? If the answer is yes, then we might as well start believing in anything and everything including st clause, gnomes, etc.
Now, I am not saying we should not or that we should. I am only looking for something to convince me. I'd absolutely love to know that there's someone looking over me up there in the 'clouds'...
Still however, what exactly is the soul? What is it made of? Where is it? How do we measure the soul or its effects? How do we describe it mathematically?
I would so love to have an answer to those questions...

The question really is: why did you find the need to inform your employer about the death of your pal? It is of absolutely no interest to them. If you asked for emergency leave or didn't show up at work with the excuse of your pal's death, then I can prolly understand, though perhaps not condone, your employer's actions.
Why not? There's plenty of men of all sorts in grocery store and shopping malls and libraries etc. That's exactly how it used to work back in my days, actually.
This is a bit far fetched imo. Tyranny can be fought without having thousands of people murder each other while awaiting the tyrant to establish his/her tyranny. For example, tyranny can be fought the way the IRA did, or even better, the way Mahatma Gandhi did.
And yet I was so sure that seaw n dedo would have contributed to explain this rather baffling phenomenon with an at least more baffling explanation. Was kinda looking forward to read their take on the matter.
