There has to be a high number of voters against it. But to ask the people at all is worth it! I hope it may be a turning point. I voted for exit of the project. There are more important things to spend the money on. But it is in the end a decision of the Deutsche Bahn (DB).

did u ask ur people about the case (referendum)? or the UNO? immunity for troopers, politicians and so on is a worst case scenario anyway and worldwide........

again I must admit that I do not know most countries and people. Bahrain seems to be quite liberal if u can live there. But how to tell people not to eat meat from cattle but from insects(like in Thailand) for animal rights may be a task for big organisations as UNO and WWF, not for me.
the pacific islands of volcanic origin usually sink after the volcanic activity stops. so u need a checklist of what happens. the whole earth would be covered by a deep sea if the surface would be flat and even.
