SLAUGHTERING ANIMALS HALAL Style

Much livestock travels to the middle east alive on ships from New Zealand, Australia and Brazil. The People respecting the laws of islam in having Halal meat want it this way. With no consideration for the welfare of the animals concerned. People this is not a message intended as hatred toward Muslims as I will surely once again be accused of by a select few who know who they are , but you can see for yourself if you google, how these animals suffer and how these animals live in crowded and poor conditions on board the transport ships for 5 weeks as they travel to the gulf. I did not take so much notice of the anti live sheep transport propaganda , thinking oh there is always some tree hugging , vegetarian ,hemp wearing , dope smokin, breast feeding kids till they are 7 , greenie wanting to stick up for animals rights with out thinking of us carnivores like a bit of a lamb chop sometimes........But then one day ( i live in Bahrain) I drove up beside a truck full of either australian or NZ sheep just come off a ship going to the abbatoirs ( very different to sheep from the middle east thats how i could tell ) also the shabby and sick state they were in, with wool shed from their backs which comes from being in a distressed state, made me vow never to buy and support this inductry here. I only buy local meat, Now Halal is fine i have no trouble with that , but transporting these poor beasts just so people can have good meat for the sake of halal to me is the lowest form of cruelty that can be inflicted on an animal how they can accept these poor beasts as they are and then say Bismillah over then in the way they do and that makes it all right and ok , I do not know.
Explain it to me someone, if this can be right in gods eyes, all that cruelty for the sake of halal meat.
We have a boycott here on buying meat from our own countries even though we want it so much , simply for these reasons.
Are there any Arabs out there who care also ?

I did not know that Jana, its interesting, thanks for sharing.
Hi Takeme,

I believe men are not cruel. Our way to be in society and give priorities to things that disrepect the nature make people act unconscious.

But I can understand you feelings. bouquet
Dear Take, Anything that a person can get away with either legally or socialy will be done for the gain of the indavidual . Even laws and social aditudes can only do so much .Now just in case you are wondering, yes I do eat meat . The only time I think of becomeing a vegatarian is when I visit the meat deparment at the supermarket and then look at the prices . ...the tainted troll

again I must admit that I do not know most countries and people.
Bahrain seems to be quite liberal if u can live there.
But how to tell people not to eat meat from cattle but from insects(like in Thailand) for animal rights may be a task for big organisations as UNO and WWF, not for me.

Takemetofrance. I am reading blogs here sometimes. I am a muslum too. And i agree with you at many points. I do not want to eat that kind of meat and i agree that animals should not suffer for food production.
It is definitely not about religion and it is a shame to see and know that people who claims as muslum, make animals suffer any way.
Here we make Kurban Bayrami once a year. We go to our villiages, almost every family buys a cow or sheep. And in the day of Bayram, they behead animal for sacrificing to god. Many of them do that on streets, gardens of home or somewhere around home. Some animals take the smell of blood or see other ones being beheaded. All kids see the scene.
It can be acceptable to sacrifice for god but it can never be acceptable to make animals suffer unnecessarily.
This suffers does not occur in only muslum countries, it occurs in many chicken farms in western countries.
Something else i want to say, actually, if you make animal suffer unnecessarily, it is not helal in our religion.I think it is not about religion, it is about people and lifestyle.
Love, I am proud to be pesci vegetarian... I only eat fishwink
Hate the cruelty myselfpeace

makes me feel bettergrin
Tahsin, I always admire your balanced point of view! thumbs up handshake
thanks Jana.
