So true, Jax. I learned about bleach relieving poision oak, ivy and sumac. I used to get it so bad and I had calamine on from head to toe. I looked like a pink monster, lol.
With the heat here that is very helpful information. My mom showed me how to clean my coffee machine with vinegar. That baking soda remedy is good to know. I used to like to mix vinegar and baking soda to watch it fizz, lol.
I am glad they are doing that. Elks are very fine animals. Roadkill is a problem here, too. Hunters who are responsible trying to protect the Elk by making sure not all are shot.
I would say they are to protect the hive, too. I remember when they had the story of the killer bees a lot of people were worried. I think the wrong bees were crossbreeded.
That makes sense because after all the beekeeper is responsible for the bees becuase someone has to protect the queen bee. The flowers closer is better for the queen bee and the bee keeper. The less she has to travel the more secure the hive is.
I have heard that sometimes they crossbreed the bees to have a strong bee that makes better tasting honey. My friend had a regular job but liked bee keeping because a lot of people like pure honey.

After watching Romper Room I learned that it is better to be a do bee than a don't bee. I also learned some from reading Pooh Bear. I have felt late Pooh, lately. Has anyone else felt like that?
I prefer the bees atleast they make honey. Yellow jackets, wasps, hornets, scorpions, mud dobbers are all good insects but as far as I know they don't make honey. I used to do yellow jackets and drink stingers. I am fond of Stingrays whether they swim or if you get to drive them. If I have stung anyone I would like to apologize. I was just trying to get honey. Even bears like honey. I had a friend who was a bee keeper and sometimes he had to use smoke to calm the bees. When the bees swarm it is best to have protective clothing.

Quality time over quantity time, too. I learned that from playing with my grandson. Little scramper would like to cheat at the cards but the ideal was to spend time with him. I can remember being too busy a lot and sometimes it doesn't take that much time to make a difference.

Yes, I can understand that. If the hive is threatened sometimes the queen bee moves and a new hive is made.
