Strange the way chemistry and connection are now from the way it used to be. Chemistry was the drugs and a connection was how I got them. Life is so much different now not being under the influence of mind controlling chemicals.
I liked the Chuckie Cheese they had in Fayetteville, Arkansas. My family went there long ago. It was interesting to watch the robotic band do Santana's Black Magic Woman. I just stared at the band while we all ate pizza. It was nice to do something as a family with my wife, daughter and son. It was before material wealth became to mean everything. It was a time of peace and harmony. I played ski ball with my son and daughter. My wife and I could still talk to each other during those days. It was nice to have a conversation with her while they were playing. It was long ago and far away when two could share a quiet time without the interference of a controlling mother-in-law. It was a fairytale existence and wasn't meant to last. It was nice while it lasted though.
That was a very touching story and coming from you I know it is a real one. I am very happy for you and Paul. I don't know Paul but know he will be getting a real sweet lady. Miracles happen every day. I wish you safe passage in your journey. A journey of a thousand miles starts with just one step. I hope it is a step in the right direction for both of your sakes but if it is not then I hope you enjoy it for the experience that it will be. All my love.
Gojoe asked Chiquita if she was part of a biker gang. She said no. He said he was a lone wolf now but used be a member of Hell's Angels. She asked why he left the gang and he said that he just wanted to see the country for himself for a while. He asked her why she starting riding and she said that she inherited the bike. She was new to biking but really liked the freedom of the open road. He said he knew what she meant by that because he got tired of a mundane job and wanted to see life from the wild side.
He met this other bananna there named Chiquita who came in with a 750 Norton. She had drove up from the Baha and they were talking about all the construction on the new highways. She said she had spent the night at a rest stop near Needles, California and was looking for a good motel while her bike was being a complete overhaul and having the sand washed off.
He went into this bike shop and had a bananna seat customized for his harley. The bikers at the shop said that they could transform his harley into a chopper. He was all excited. They said they could put a larger gas tank on it so they he wouldn't have to gas up so often. He got a tattoo while there with a Del Monte design. He was fascinated by all the other bikes in the shop and got some saddle bags for his chopper. He was talking to this one biker who thought about putting a side car on his chopper. He thought it wouldn't be good for him, though.
So gojoe became a bananna and split. He put on a bandana and went to Montana. He found his old harley and cruised till he got to Santa Monica. There he pulled over for a while because it started to rain. He stopped under a bridge till the rain stopped.
Rainbow Angel Cake Simple food colors and candies create the wow for an easy-to-make cake.
1 box Betty Crocker® white angel food cake mix 1 1/4 cups cold water 1 teaspoon grated lemon or orange peel Red, yellow and green liquid food colors 1 cup Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting (from 1-lb container) 12 to 15 square candy fruit chews
1 . Move oven rack to lowest position (remove other racks). Heat oven to 350°F. In extra-large glass or metal bowl, beat cake mix, water and lemon peel with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds; beat on medium speed 1 minute. 2 . Divide batter evenly among 3 bowls. Gently stir 6 to 8 drops of one food color into each of the batters. Pour red batter into ungreased 10-inch angel food (tube) cake pan. Immediately turn pan upside down onto glass bottle until cake is completely cool, about 2 hours. Run knife around edges of cake; remove from pan to serving plate. 4 . Spoon 1/2 cup of the frosting into microwavable bowl. Microwave uncovered on High about 15 seconds or until frosting can be stirred smooth and is thin enough to drizzle. (Or spoon frosting into 1-quart saucepan and heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until thin enough to drizzle.) Drizzle over cake. 5 . Place remaining frosting in decorating bag with writing tip. Pipe a ribbon and bow on each candy square to look like a wrapped package. Arrange packages on top of cake. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
I am not sure. I am trying to see if Betty Crocker is still single, lol.
Welcome to the forums, Al. I hope you take a liking to this place. I have found many friends to chat with here. It is a special, wonderful and magical place.
So true. We had this Jersey cow growing up. Mom had to go milk it every morning. You would think mom was always nice. Mom used to be a tomboy. That cow kicked mom's milk bucket one morning. I felt sorry for that cow. The cow learned a valueable lesson. Don't mess with mom early in the morning, lol. Jersey cows have the highest cream content in their milk which is different than herefords and anguses. There was an abundance of cream for coffee, making butter and making buttermilk. Buttermilk is better when cold. Buttermilk is good with cornbread. When homogenized a lot of the cream is not tasted. It takes a getting used to switch from margarine to butter and vice versa.
I like the song, "We can dance if we want to". I think Men Without Hats sung it. If something is funny to me I laugh. I might be the only one who laughs but I laugh anyways, lol. I think something is cool if it is cool to me. I think pet rocks are cool, lol.
I tried to find an exact replica of the one I lost. That was my mistake. All that hard work that my deceased and me went through can't just be replaced. I think substitution might be a better term. But as many have told me on here you can't just simply replace. One must start completely new from scratch like a good recipe. You get out what you put into a good recipe. There is nothing like the loving that comes from the oven. Betty Crocker. Garbage in - garbage out. Computer Logic.
I usually do something really dumb then realize how well I do really have it when I get back from another, yet, stupid mistake. I miss Laurel and Hardy. I think I will check one out at the library, lol. I go to my meetings and they get my head screwed back on straight for a while. the treatments are usually good for about a day, lol. I am trying to get back into reading. Doing housework and mundane things helps, too. I love coming in here and what Joanie said made sense, too. I can come in here and see that I am not bad off as I thought I was.
Good advice, Paws. I got behind a mule once while trying to feed it. I am glad I was tall when it kicked me with both hind legs. I chased the mule all over the place but it would never let me get near it again. It was named Rhody and it was used to being hit when it screwed up. I used to ride it. I had this big stick behind my back. Here, Rhody, lol. I was just going to give it a love tap, lol.
That is really beautiful, Alex. I can love nature, again. It is a real big step for me. It wasn't always that way for a long time. My aunt across the street drove by my yard and said welcome back, Roy. It was really sweet. She made me some jellies, shared some pears off her trees and canned some some stuff for me. I washed the jars out and saved the lids. Used to you couldn't shared the lids but they can be reused now. My dog loves being back. He can rip through the yard and chase the rabbits. So far he hasn't caught one but once you get used to country life and a big place to live on it is just hard to get used to a smaller space. I love the four acres out here. I am glad I can love nature again. So I haven't gone wrong loving nature. I love the sound of the crickets and the temperature isn't as hot as it was. It is a good day, today, so far, lol.
