I don't drive either and travelling to meet somebody can cost a lot of money and be a waste of time or disappointment so it should only be considered, in my opinion, when you think you know the other person quite well.
I can remember better my first illegal drinks. What I do remember more fondly is the first time my son took me out for his first legal drink. Enjoy your evening!
Well there you go! Full of surprises me! Actually I had an embarrassing moment once when I was bending down in class wearing trousers and a student saw my tattoo and pointed it out to the whole class. The kids were very surprised but also thought it was cool!
In the past I was always with family but now that I live here in Spain it's different unless we are able to visit each other, if I'm not with family I spend it with friends and always speak to my family on the telephone at midnight. I would not like to spend New Year alone it's always better, in my opinion, to celebrate the new year with family or someone special.
No I wasn't there unfortunately. It's a great annual event in Bunol, Valencia like so many other crazy events in Spain. They just symbolise the very essence of this country, noisy, vibrant and colourful. Here in Murcia there is a celebration for almost everything, fireworks, processions, food festivals, music and dancing in the street etc. It is really upliftings.
RE: Hello UK, I'm used to posting in the International forums......
yes but I've had a couple of emails tonight from UK members for the first time so why don't they join the forums? Maybe they are a bit shy!
