A feminine point of view...

....but open to the guys too. I see there are so many beautiful, and I mean beautiful, women here on CS, so what's gone wrong with the normal dating scene? You know, going out to a club, or wherever, and meeting a guy in normal circumstances?

RE: Never ending story of Dreamkeeper....

Glad you noticed too sweetie!

I'm waiting for his reply as are those on the International forum who have been much more critical of him as you quoted.

RE: Never ending story of Dreamkeeper....

Sorry Dreamkeeper, but I see you have posted the same thread in the International Forum and YOU have been accused of being the scammer, what with your Latvian beauty and your 70 year old girlfriend ,by many people there.

What's the deal then?dunno

Moral Dilemmas.

If a good friend, then yes. Would you not expect him or her to do the same and save so many lives?

Moral Dilemmas.

What a lovely answer!

Moral Dilemmas.

If you could prevent either an earthquake that would kill 40,000 people, a plane crash that would kill 200 people, or a car accident that would kill a friend of yours, which would you choose?

I have exempted myself from replying! devil

RE: PETS!!!

Hmmm I agree it is a silly trend to dress up our pets, imagine if they could talk to us. I'm sure they would tell us where to stuff our little outfits!

I love dogs personally, I have a beautiful labrador in the UK which my ex has custody of but I miss him, the dog that is, so much. I would never dream of dressing him up, except at Christmas when he wore a Santa hat for all of two minutes before he shook it off!

I want a dog here but I live in a flat and don't think it's fair, even though most people live in flats here in the city centre and still have dogs, usually small ones though. crying crying

What annoys you most about the forum threads?

Hi.

We are not analysing posts and emails, it's as you have obviously understood, an automatic reflex due to our jobs and I, like Sweetcherry, have some dyslexic students so I understand the problems this brings. I specifically referred to this and non-native speakers in my original post.

Incidentally, the thread wasn't about hate but what annoys you most. I would have preferred it if other things had been discussed, but as you saw, it was hijacked completely by the same topic.

So, is there anything which annoys you about the forum threads?

RE: its quiz time

Apologies to everybody too.

Dad was in the army but conscripted, so not for a great length of time. He won most of the army championships in the early to mid 50's and competed in army teams with great fighters such as Henry Cooper.

Later he went on to win a bronze medal in the Empire Games before turning pro.

RE: its quiz time

Nope, it was my daddy the great Merseyside boxer Johnny Cooke.

I've given the answer because I doubt anyine else will get it.

RE: its quiz time

Sorry laugh It was published in 1962 but I think it was written a few years befor, late 50's.

Now answer my question smart alek!

RE: its quiz time

Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Who was British and Empire Welterweight boxing champion in 1967?

RE: its quiz time

Ulaanbataar.

Who painted Baldassare Castiglione and when?

RE: Never ending story of Dreamkeeper....

Yes I can read English I teach it! I misunderstood your post because you were talking about a Russian site, I apologise profusely.

I think I must have hit a nerve though because you obviously didn't like my reply. Surely you expected some responses to be a little negative, there are so many horror stories out there.

And whatever happened to the older lady you were in love with?

RE: Never ending story of Dreamkeeper....

Perhaps she's genuine but a lot ARE looking beyond the surface, towards a free passage out of Russia!

Be careful!

RE: Camera Surveillance~~~Is enough...enough?

Not as much as they were. Thanks to the Trades Unions, cameras in workplace toilets were removed some years ago, but they were the norm, particularly in factories.

RE: no i am here

Well if you are referring in particular to Yami, I've said this before, he likes to be controversial but he is actually quite a kind man and has given good advice and help to many people in the past. In addition, he has only recently been faceless, his photo was on CS for many months.

I apologise Yami for talking about you as though you weren't here!devil

RE: why guys are like this?

Sweetie, you are very pretty and very young and your questions reflect this. With more experience and time you will understand much more. We can offer advice but it's only through your own life that you will learn the answers.

Don't be in such a rush to grow up and analyse everything, enjoy your life while you are young.

RE: pause for thought

Painting that picture has given you enormous pleasure and with the time involved to finish it you must now feel a real sense of satisfaction. Unless you aren't happy with the result of course!

I hope I too do most things out of pleasure and I try not to dwell too much on the past, or at least the negative aspects of it. Looking forward with optimism is the best advice I can give even though it may be difficult at times.

What annoys you most about the forum threads?

I don't believe yuor profile indicates that you are an uncaring man or that it is untruthful, but it is difficult to read without proper punctuation and stuctures.

It's the same as when somebody adds too many smileys etc, it really does put a strain on the eyes, and to prove my point....

Mine hasn't been working for a couple of days either, despite having received flowers and emails. I'm sure it wil rectify itself in time.

RE: no i am here

Good morning!

As for photos, well sometimes there may be valid reasons for not posting. For example, I would not post my photo on a local Spanish site because I would not want any of my teenage or adult students to see me. It would not be professional and my private life is not for classroom discussion.

Some people fear friends or family may get to know, not everybody thinks that dating sites are a good thing and it could cause embarrassment. Bear in mind too, that some people also have very low esteem and may not feel confident or attractive enough to show their faces to the world.

However, I agree that suspicion raises it's head when there is no photo to view, are they married for example? I usually tell men who email me that I do not care to respond to faceless profiles, some offer to send a photo via my private email, others don't. I also give them the benefit of the doubt and advise them to post a photo for their own benefit and explain that most of the ladies like to see a face behind the profile before committing to further communication. A couple have actually taken my advice and posted photos, so not all faceless members are false.

Who is responsible?

Well that's an original answer, thank you!

RE: YOUR FIRST TIME!!!

I remember it clearly. We were both too young, it was painful and over in about 60 seconds! Not at all what I had been dreaming of, but fortunately since then.....laugh

What annoys you most about the forum threads?

There is no serious conflict Trish, just a difference of opinion. This is normal don't you think, we are all individual after all.

My rant was specifically for NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS and I believe there was a misunderstanding. No harm done and we are all still friends.
peace wave

You should look at the International forum then you would really see fighting and insults flying!
