RE: A marriage thread for next year.

There's only one way to have a great marriage...........as soon as I learn what it is I'll get married again.

RE: Let's Debate.....Impeach George W. Bush.

handshake We crossed posts, you have said exactly what I was questioning earlier.

What's the answer though?

RE: Let's Debate.....Impeach George W. Bush.

Thankyou!

As an English woman living in Spain, I do not necessarily agree with much of Prime Minister Tony Blair's policies, despite being a life-long Labour supporter, however, he never embarrasses me when I hear his public speeches even though I may not agree with what he is saying, the same goes for the President of the Spanish Government. However, when I listen to Bush, and leaving aside political differences, I really cringe and feel embarrassed by his stupidity and crass remarks.

I know that everybody beilieves that anything is possible in America but how on earth did such an ill-educated man become President????

RE: Let's Debate.....Impeach George W. Bush.

Impeachment? Maybe, more pressing is the need for education and lessons regarding public speaking,

How can a man in his position make so many gaffes in public? It baffles me, he is a joke, and America should be ashamed that such a man is representing their country.

RE: To the Mods!!

Happy Holidays to each and every one of you, you do a great job....but please use the rules and regulations in a more consistent and fair manner for 2007.

Been worrying a bit...

...but mum is on her way! Her flight from the UK was delayed but she has arrived at the airport safe and will be here very soon.... so... signing off for a few days folks.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!

RE: Introducing....my family. Yes, all NINE of my children wish you Happy Holidays!

RE: Fatal Attraction...

Well despite our profile wish lists, I don't really think most of us actively look for a particular type.

It has been said that abused women for example often end up with the same type of man, but I'm not sure that's true. Perhaps some people are TOO caring, loving and forgiving therefore THEY are attractive and sought out by those who are the opposite.

Does THAT make sense? dunno wave

RE: SHOPPING !

Just finished my last minute shopping and the city centre was heaving with people all looking very stressed!

My mum will arrive from the UK later this evening and I will return with her for New Year with my son and daughter.

Happy Christmas to everybody!

RE: Fatal Attraction...

Hello. I think the question is a little vague, perhaps that's why there hasn't been a response.

RE: 5 wishes...

I would give 2 of my wishes away to each of my children and the remaining 3:

1. To end the suffering of every child in the world and allow them to be children for as long as they should be able.

2. Health and happiness to each member of my family.

3. For me, to be able to share my happy life with a special man and if that wish cannot be granted, to continue to accept that my life is still happy and productive as a single independent woman. A golden labrador puppy would be a bonus though!

What is your favourite....

.....Christmas movie?

Many of the old classics are shown during the holidays such as, It's a Wonderful Life and White Christmas which I never tire of, but my favourites are the Scrooge movies, particularly the 1970 version starring Albert Finney as Scrooge.

RE: Who is From Outside of the US?

Hi, I'm an English woman living and working in Spain for the past two years. I mostly use the European Forum but sometimes drop in here because it is active 24/7. It's difficult and at times exasperating though because there IS a huge bridge between European and American cultures.

Why can't I be tougher......

The relationship I had after my divorce after many years of marriage turned sour because of his insane jealousy, but today is his birthday and I am thinking about him. Why is this?

He ended up making my life a misery because of his jealousy and incapacity to understand I needed friends and a life outside of my relationship with him, which didn't threaten it. It was so bad that I had to get a protection order, so why do I care that it his birthday and I know he is alone?

I know why, I don't really want advice just.....it's ok I understand.

RE: Does age matter?? How about size?? Be honest!!!

How many times is this question posted, albeit in a slightly different way?

As I have always said before, YES it does matter to most people despite what people say to the contrary. Just read other posts and compare you wil understand what I mean!

RE: Comfort zone # two

You are asking for trouble.....but I just can't be bothered to reply to such an idiotic post.

RE: which thing

No one thing.....waking up to a day without work, rain falling (very rare here in Murcia). a phone call from my son or daughter in the UK, a smile from ANYBODY....the list goes on and on and on!

RE: what do ya miss from your childhood?

Youth and innocence.

RE: Do You Understand Men?
